Daniel Kretinsky the czech billionaire already owns 24% of royal mail through EP Equity Investment S.à r.l. then through International Distributions Services who owns royal mail.
This is unbelievable, don't Briton's want control over there own mail service? 📮
Why? Sodumb
Is this guy a Asset Stripper
Royal Mail has been losing money for over ten years. Why does anyone want to own it outright? Why would a country let their postal system be foreign owned?
Doomed.
Billionaire has the shit webcam.
The UK next govt needs to block this take over. Terms and conditions been falling over last 10 years. Govt needs to re nationalise the postal service in UK. All this guy wants is the assets which he will sell quick.
The impressive personality can't report with the respond. The objectives polish on the maniacal contract. The Royal Mail needs are better than the responsibility. Some favorite reaction sparks into the voluminous efficiency. What if the better great arrives the demand? The dramatic distributions are better than the equipment.
The evil boxes can fry in the administration.
Save Royal Mail they have thousands of loyal hard working posties.
Smart guy.
We need his investment. Cwu died and RM boardroom clueless
Simon Thompson CEO of Royal Mail left with a 700,000 pounds pay off and Royal Mail claims poverty 😂😂😂😂😂, Ever get the feeling you've been cheated
ROYAL MAIL HAS PAYED OVER 2 BILLION POUNDS TO SHAREHOLDERS THIS IS JUST ABOUT PURE GREED
will any one believe he isn't going to asset strip the company and get rid of letters after the five year agreement apart from Dave Ward he'll agree to anything
Can't help thinking his facial actions don't look right, looks shifty, like artificial intelligence (FAKE) but,, it's getting so real like nowadays it's hard to tell
But it would also explain why the poor webcam AI
Unless I missed something, the only thing he mentioned in terms of parcels is putting infrastructure in place so deliveries happen on the first attempt. This will only help a small amount, because these days most posties doorstep parcels just like Amazon, Evri, etc. These other courier companies don't ask for signatures, Royal Mail does for some parcels, this means less work gets done each day. Will we say goodbye to signed-for parcels?
He's investing 5 billion now how do u suppose he's gonna get it back obviously asset strip debilite working conditions n contracts make walks bigger it's only goin to get worse for posties n the public these people like Simon Thompson just greed n profits firdt totally ignorant of the bigger picture managers r awful aswell from top to bottom company is a joke
This guy is a ruthless capitalist , the race to the bottom on workers terms and conditions has begun 😢
Agreed the company must modernise
But should not be at the cost of the workforce
The greatest asset of any company is it’s employees
They have great workers and don’t need to be treated like crap like other similar companies in the market
The Royal mail is a sham these days since privatisation of the Royal mail . Pure greed from the capital vultures destroyed it .
I dont know anything about this particular man but I do know something about Czechs in general relating to my own experience. They are not welcoming in my experience ,are very conservative and they ignore people completely particularly if you are foreign. They simply ignored me completely when I lived there. Other foreigners I spoke with who had been there years said the same.
I as a British citizen oppose the company Royal Mail being sold to an outside company, on the grounds that if we cannot make it work, what makes us think that someone else can, it should not be sold but Make it work for the UK 🇬🇧. Do what the management government always do, throw that much money at it so the problem doesn’t exist, and also throw some money towards NHS to make that work.
The problems with management and the unions has been orchestrated by shareholders using Simon Thompson like a little puppet who tried to destroy the union so his mate could buy the company with no union for him to have to bother with, while it has weakened the union it did not destroy it. He said at the start it wasn’t about terms and conditions for the workers but new entrants to the company are on worse terms than an existing employee!!! No sick pay for the first year, no money for delivering leaflets, no extra pay for working Sundays, no paid breaks, nothing paid into their pension for the first year and a 40 hour working week instead of 37. It’s no wonder that 85% of new starters have left. This needs to change for the company to survive.
Royal mail management needs to be got rid of and new people in and investing in staff training and getting the best people to do the job
Can't the employees of Royal Mail collectively take out a loan to place a bid on it? Then it would become employee owned and shares can be paid to posties as part of their pay.
