Trapped at the bottom of the Barents Sea, 118 Russian Navy crewman fight to survive as everything goes catastrophically wrong.
On August 12, 2000, faulty torpedoes would lead to the sinking of the Kursk submarine.
The sailors aboard were trapped on the ocean floor while a chain of disturbing events prevented them from ever returning alive.
The levels of horror these men experienced were unimaginable.
This video will explain everything that caused the disaster, and why the Russian Navy couldn’t save them.

You can already tell that this sub wasn't prepared for war, yet training in the slightest.
What a pity. Of course they wouldn't want Putin to know something went wrong considering the people who work under him are terrified to give him anything but good or 'okay' news.
22:55 Russia has been good at blaming other nations(when they can, sometimes even if it realistically makes no sense) when something goes wrong.
24:30 To think nothing was down is insane considering what they carrying. Do they seriously not care for the safety of their people?
I was waiting for this video! I’m already feeling claustrophobic…
Just imagine the last hours of those men….its terrifying.
Great video!
Came here from Reddit- this is a fascinating video!
5 ton torpedo?!?! 😮
Great start of a channel and going into the macabre! Came here from reddit this is the 3rd video I have watched. Keep it up!
Forcibly sedating someone is the same type of policy that poisons someone.
Great video. The delay in response and subsequent cover up is deplorable. How is it that nobody in the administration would suggest against going with the "dog ate my homework" approach when responding to the public,, knowing that it never works long term? Especially considering how most of those in charge were old enough to remember how Chernobyl played out less than 15 years earlier. If they acted sooner they might have been able to save 23 people.
Great work and research.
Oh my comment is gone, this video came out at the right time 😁👍🏼
Great video, the response from the Russian families seems so justified and I wish they had been able to get the truth out to the rest of the country. I fear the Russian people may never be able to cleanse their country of the horrible array of leadership that has plagued them for what feels like over a century now.
