She ascended the throne only a few years after the partition of India. Both Pakistan and Bangladesh were created out of India. All three — members of the Commonwealth, but not without their differences. Prime minister Narendra Modi met Queen Elizabeth twice during trips to the UK. He warmly remembered the Queen showing him a handkerchief given to her by Mahatma Ghandi. The PM tweeted she’ll be remembered as a stalwart of our times. She provided inspiring leadership to her nation and people, personified dignity and decency in public life.

I’m an Asian and I love the queen so much, perhaps she’s like my grandmother, and maybe perhaps I love history so much especially ww2 era that I started to like her and her humor is so funny. I wish her majesty could’ve lived longer with strict medical supervisions and did not catch covid but that’s how life works we were born and we eventually die, I just hope she is happy from where she is now.
