  1. Artificial turf has been proven bad when it first came out. Because there’s many players that was injured on it. That’s why not many Teams are using them. But of course the losers of the NFL are still using them. Because these low rung Teams don’t care about their own players getting hurt in their own Turf. And that’s why they’re losers!

  2. Some owners, not all, have installed artificial turf. Real grass costs much more to upkeep.
"You know these owners are cheap…" says Hensley.
Oh, for Pete's sake. All the NFL owners spend like King Midas compared to the rest of us. Use a better argument.
Cut out the "cheap" talk, Hensley. That's a Cohn specialty.

  3. The common denominator is actually Kyle. Why the heck would you have Jimmie Ward, a veteran free safety, on the kick off team? Why the heck would you have a frail 40 year old kicker Gould kick off instead of Wishnowsky who could tackle? And why the heck would you not going for it 4th and 1 and put your tired defense on the field again (and not playing backups)? Fire Bananahands.

  4. It's not hurting the NFL, it's hurting the players. Allowing the BS substrate as "turf" is categorical proof the NFL doesn't give a s**t about the players. The players, along with the Players Union need to get together and file a mega lawsuit against these clowns…

  5. When the World Cup comes to the US, some of these NFL stadiums are switching from turf to grass because FIFA is requiring grass fields in the World Cup. It’s totally in the NFL’s ability to do it. They don’t care.

  7. It’s not comp… it’s the ease of being able to change the venue out. It should change, don’t get me wrong. It’s an issue that needs to be elevated so the OWNERS could sell the fact that it’s all grass for their players. I wouldn’t want to play on a turf team.
