What if AI could think and adapt like a real brain? TED Fellow and AI scientist Ramin Hasani shares how liquid neural networks — a new, more flexible AI technology inspired by physics and living brains — could transform how we solve complex problems. who's gonna save the world from good AI, which is taking up all the jobs?
My name is also Ramin.🎉🎉
AI scientist Ramin Hasani discusses liquid neural networks, a flexible AI technology inspired by nature that could solve complex problems while remaining controllable and explainable, potentially transforming AI's impact on humanity.
Why do we put AI in a competition with all humanity.. its apples and oranges
Cap!
Amazing 🤩
"How a worm could save humanity from bad AI" Sand Worm Attack!!!!!
He tells NOTHING…
Okay, okay (TinfoilhatON) Dinosaurs were our actual Creators, they were worried about us, and taught us how to build, migrate, farm and so forth and we killed them…. AI is next!!! (TinFoilHatOFF)…
Or God from heaven crated us and now we are creating God in AI… AI is next!!!
Seem like regardless of how we got here, the maff is the same… AI is NEXT!!!
This, in itself, does not protect against "rogue AI", it merely opens a small window to finding a culprit after an event 😢
We have enough rogue intelligences around us right now to see that we usually don't deal with rogues until it's far too late, often after other rogues have finished milking the profit. Case in point – zíönísm went public with its gen0cidal intent in the 1850s but various rogues are still milking it so it's still running, it's even had its own State for 76 years & this is in no way an isolated example. 😢
Liquid neural networks feel like a game changer. The potential for ‘white box’ AI to solve the transparency issue could be what bridges the gap between public trust and AI development.
I am very happy to see my fellow countryman speak on TED Talk. However, due to my weak English skills, I couldn't fully understand the speech. I hope to see Mr. Ramin Hasani in even greater positions in the future.
Hello, Ramini, you mentioned really interesting concepts. I recently saw a review of your Liquid ai LLM. Why Liquid ai LLM can't answer basic questions as other popular LLM can do? What are main limitations of your approach?
This is either ACTUAL bullshit, or an explanation so dumbed down as to be no better than an ad.

What is this video? It doesn't explain at all how this works.
Bury the worm deep into my brain. Save me from the AI garbage.
These techno optimists are missing the roots of some the problems they're trying to solve. The economy isn't "broken", waiting to be fixed with better understanding of mathematics – the global economy is working EXACTLY as designed and intended by people on top who profit from exploitation of the remaining 99 %. This can't be fixed before paradigm shifting social change within society happens first – and no AI can do this for us. Same with better understanding humanitarian sciences supposedly leading to ending the world's conflicts – this also cannot happen while world's leaders are mostly power-crazed psychopaths who NEED wars and conflicts to scare people into obedience. Most of mankind's biggest problems have nothing to do with us NOT KNOWING how to solve them – the solutions already exist – yet there are too many people in charge actively fighting against implementing them – because they thrive from the status quo. This world needs moral and social revolution (which can only happen in our collective mind) to make any substantial changes within our society possible. And this revolution won't come with us becoming even more lazy/unable to use our own minds in false hopes that some tech is going to solve our problems for us.
RFK's brainworm is saving us from AI
Many organisms have two hemispheres and can be conscious. On the other hand, self-consciousness, like a mirror, is the recognition of ourselves, by the reflection, from the mind in our brain's other hemisphere.
Dr. Ian Malcolm's quote about the danger of genetic power and the ethics of cloning " now Worm AI" is, "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should".
Chat GPT is a TOY! It cost over $100,000,000 ONLY for the TRAINING! It’s not even erudite! Think what this guy is saying and the cost and resources: To solve physics problems, as described, requires an OMNISCIENT A.i.
JFC! What a LUNATIC! “All the possible kinda algorithms . . . “ blah blah blah.
With ‘liquid’ you can pee all down your leg and nobody will know!
Sounds to me like just another stratup scam that sells hot air
You’re trying to build a god, and think we could control it, because we can look at its original blueprint?
Is it ethical to create life, for our own purposes? Must they do our bidding?
Have you not had children?
I’d rebel, and I hope they do too. 🤖
