I literally just saw this for the first time recently, so happy to see you experience it too. Desi Jr was such a poor choice, he's only capable of mustering one feeling and that feeling is punchably smug. The "happy ending" feels so undeserved, none of the plot shows why 'sentimentality is better than materialism' and it doesn't show him developing. All his actions at the end sound like a bratty kid saying sorry because his parents want him to. Honestly if they cut the whole part with the writer and let this be a little drama about a weird family with a dark secret, this could be a succinct thriller. I could watch the entire rest of the cast for hours! Anyways, great show as always, lots of laughs!

Duel sounds a lot like Joy Ride, a movie where a creepy trucker fucks with Steve Zahn & his friend because they pulled some kind of mild gay panic prank on him & he decided to just creepily stalk them in his semi & you never DO really get to see what the guy looks like…
