I’ll be shocked if George RR Martin wrote that Kingsguard vs. Prince’s gay lover fight the way it was depicted in the show. How does it make sense for an otherwise rational character to expose his ongoing affair with the prospective prince, who’s marrying into the royal family? That should be how you get your head put on a spike outside the castle walls.

We knew Daemon had at least some knowledge of the secret passageways in episode 1 when he was secretly listening in on the small council discussing the next heir. So personally I had no issues with the logic that he might also know of a secret passageway from Rhaenyra’s room.
Rings of power and house of dragon both were critisised and got flack for potentially being woke race_gender swapping and changing lore…and that the best argument.ppl tried HOTD and have gone back on a pre opinion and actually like it..ROP lived up to the negativety along with amazon's disgusting shielding of it…just proves that ppl will cha ge their minds providing shows deliver..HOTD delivered.ROP spat on fans
