Disgusted that the 'totality' map for the North American Eclipse shows JUST the US. Totality will occur from Mexico in the south to Newfoundland Canada in the north. No wonder US folks have such a skewed vision of their nation and geography in general!

Yesterday, I went to Walmart of all places to pickup a few items. As I walked to the checkout, I walked passed by a woman towing a buggy whom I originally thought was Asian American. I excused myself as I walked past her. In front of her was her husband pushing another shopping cart. I excused myself as I walked past him as well, but turned around again because I saw something I did not see before.
I went to a register with a person tending to it instead of the self checkout for some reason. Something I have not done in YEARS. I wasn't particularly rushed yesterday. Why not? After I purchased my items and a brief talk with the clerk, I returned to my vehicle. Parked next to my vehicle was the same man and woman who appeared to be Asian American I passed in the store. The man kept staring at me. I likewise did the same. I decided to speak with the man. I asked him a simple question.
"Are you Native American?"
He replied
"Yes."
I looked down then back up and replied.
"I'm sorry for all the suffering you had to endure."
No words where exchanged after.
I then walked back slowly to my vehicle, turned on my car, and began to make my on my way.
What's the importance?

How many people out there are having jets creating contrails about to ruin it for millions? I counted 33 contrails 10:45 a.m. here in Englewood Ohio! Will it ruin it for us? I don't know. I hope not! Contrails are widening and probably going to block it. Man made clouds ' if anyone believes, are creating global warming as well? By trapping heat in our atmosphere. You think we have evolved so far beyond our BC ancestors who marveled and trembled at the occurrence of an eclipse, until you see the crowds gathered to watch a shadow. Don't get me wrong, I will be watching, but in the end, it is just a few minutes of a pretty regular happening.
