  1. Maester Aemon is like 70 years out from being born in HOTD, the Aegon he's talking about is Aegon V who at his time of birth was so low in the succession (fourth son of a fourth son) but a string of tragedies and other random shit made him king. The show does adapt out Aegon V's 5 kids (Duncan, Jaehaerys, Shaera, Daeron, Rhaelle) to skip to Jaehaerys II's kids who are Aerys and Rhaella. In the books, Duncan basically abdicates his position as Heir to marry a commoner. Jaehaerys and Shaera instead become king and queen after Aegon V dies but they rule for like a year before Jaehaerys II dies. Then Aerys takes the throne. Daeron was gay btw and died in an uprising or something while the baby of the siblings, Rhaelle, actually married a Baratheon and she's Robert's grandma in the books and why Robert is considered to have a claim on the throne.

  2. Well one theory from book analysist is that ned kind of warged into that man who cutt of his head. He is a tongueless broken man and it’s easier to warg into. Ofc in the books tho who knows

  3. I think what's interesting about the Dothraki vs Westeros is there is this veil of civility in Westeros but they're not any different than the Dothraki. At this moment they're beheading people, Tywin and the Lannister armies are going around the countryside raiding, killing, raping, and committing atrocities, just like a Dothraki hoard. The same thing happened when Robert rebelled, and the honorable Starks were a part of those attrocities as well, but the victor gets to decide it was "for glory". The juxtaposition here is poignant…you see castles vs tents, armor vs loincloth, but they're still showing us it's just a facade. The Dothraki are just more honest about who and what they, and more simple and direct about ehat they do. The Westerosi just make it more complex and call that civility.

  5. Beware House Of The Dragon spoilers in Game Of Thrones, I rewatched it recently for the first time in a while and got one and I'm pretty sure I skipped past a few others, I didn't wait around to find out though so I can't be certain. If you want to avoid those potential spoilers, just whenever you hear something that alludes to a delving into Targaryen histories, consider fast forwarding that scene. Just thought I'd let you know because I wasn't paying full attention and it completely took me by surprise. Enjoy and keep up the good work 😅✌️

  6. Before this episode i never thought a main character was in real danger. After this episode i realized that in the GoT universe no one is safe. This show changed how i watched tv series, i'm always expecting an episode 9 treatment to every protagonist.

  7. Yup…. you've just officially been initiated into Game of Thrones. Prepare yourself for a very wild, very emotional journey. I think Pudgey's reaction sums it up. It perfectly captures that singular collective moment of how this show toys with your emotions – all the way through.

  8. Ned died because he was a fool who made too many mistakes. The lesson he is meant to show is that no matter how good and honorable you are, it means nothing if you act recklessly.
