The US carrier strike group begins operating in South China Sea as tensions with China simmer.

A United States carrier strike group began operating in the South China Sea, the Navy announced, amid heightened tensions with Beijing, which claims much of the body of water as its sovereign territory.

The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, which has lethal capabilities, entered the South China Sea for the first time as part of its current deployment.

  2. A time ago, Biden sallied all 3 US Seawolf attack subs "close" to China in response to a Chinese "provocation". They weren't there to play games, they were a threat. These subs are very awesome, far more expensive, high tech and capable than the 100 or so Virginia-class attack subs.
    It is untested but it seems likely China would badly lose a sub war.

Btw, such carrier can be sent into the abyss of hell together with the American boy with it, by the Chinese supersonic missiles, they have plenty of that.   24. China's is like a horse fly and all its doing is harassing America. They know if they would fire the first round . They would be in deep trouble because they would be fighting against Nato and the pacific rim of countries around the south China sea.     the only thing is what america doesn,t like ,is that its economic policy blinds the US because it knows how to conduct buisness with other countries
    while millions of chinese are lifted out of poverty its reverse in the US so what do you do provoke a conflict thousands of miles away from your own shores again and tell the people lies of how bad china is
    china has not dropped a bomb in 40 plus years whereas the US has dropped a bomb nearly everyday somewhere on this planet
    the american media brainwashes its citizens and does not tell the facts
