  3. The marked route through the factory is the way you originally went the first time around; it has the advantage that you can ride all the way to the station instead of manually clambering around outside.
    Speaking of stations, I don't think it's surprising that unlocking stations is generally a good move. Mind you, some of those requirements are a bit tedious…
    I don't remember seeing much mention of type matchups in the game, but I'm not surprised that the Sentinel of the Sands resists Electricity but is weak to Water.
