Atlas Fallen early gameplay preview! Atlas Fallen is a new open world RPG coming in May and these are my imressioms from playing an early demo! I’ve been keeping my eye on Atlas Fallen for a while, as I think it could be a cool blend of Horizon, God of War, and some other great games. It also has some really unique aspects, like a combat system with a lot of focus on agility and verticality and a co-op mode! It was really fun checking out combat, enemies, gameplay mechanics, and the world in the preview build! When you mentioned Forespoken I lost interest 🙂 Narr, I love Horizon so this might tingle my senses
Looks cool. And the graphics looks cool as well. I hope it holds up on PS5 as well.
I would love som ranged combat options, and/or some Dark Souls difficulty/strategy.

Oooh I wasn’t aware of this game but I’ll definitely be interested in getting it. Also, maybe before your time.. maybe not. The combat style reminds me a lot of Ninja Gaiden II.
Yeah… kinda worrying, generic european style ruins, not letting you make your own recordings, and kinda bland generic sand monsters, with brown, brown and more brown colourset gonna be a hard pass, this like a game from 10 years ago

Looks like a really interesting game! I will for sure keep my eye on it now. You gave a solid review Arktix, pros and cons with even some constructive feedback on how to improve based on what you got to experience.
This wasn't on my radar, but your video did pique my interest in it a little. Doubt I'd be getting it at launch but I'll keep an eye out for future updates to see if it's something I'd like to dive into.

This is probably the best game breakdown I’ve ever watched. I’m usually not even thinking about how good a video is but great job! I’m actually pretty interested in this game. Of course a bow would be nice though 😂

Unblockable attacks should be colored red, not blue, it's kind of engraved into video game rules by this point. Pendantic, I know, but otherwise looking great.

This definitely looks like something I'll check out but it is listed to release basically the same time as Zelda TOTK which means I'll be busy and will wait for a sale for this one

Man I love your in-depth videos. This was an excellent assessment of a game that looks very promising – though, I have to confess, I'm disappointed that the narrative seems weak. The storyline of a game makes or breaks it for me, and I don't see much value in playing a game without much substance beyond combat.
If the game launches with a much more robust character & narrative system in place, then this will definitely be a title for me. The co-op would be awesome to play with my husband, but only if the story is worth it.
But , wait ….. didn’t forspoken fail miserably . Maybe wait for reviews

Horizon???? Definitely loved that comparison. That stamina bar info is definitely one of a kind, but what sold me was the character creation and gameplay. I cant wait to play this.

This looks really interesting, thanks for your in-depth first look! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it. The speed and verticality during combat sound fun (despite it not being ranged combat 😅). And IMO not every game needs to be as graphically dense as Horizon to be enjoyable – although obviously I love the graphics in Horizon.
(also props to you for editing a video of this length without being able to use your own clips!!!)

Not even mad about the forspoken comparisons. Glad to see the good parts of Forspoken are being taken forward without the rest of the crap. Also no complaints about merging elements from HZD/FW and GoW.

I’m gonna be completely honest I have good feelings that this game will be good but I don’t think it will be on the same level as titles like horizon and God of war. For what I’ve seen in gameplay footage, I’m seeing a fair bit of darksiders combat, solstice (has a unity meter where this has a moment meter which pretty much works the same) and Prince of Persia( Sand obviously).
Still gonna be better than forspoken
