  1. In 1990 I had seen this several times and was 15. I watched it with 3 elderly women and watching them overreact to the bee scene is one of my favorite memories ever. It ranged from covering their eyes, to literally falling out of their seats. It was like they were riding on the bees.

  2. I know this movie came out after Spaceballs, but it's still a great example of why Spaceballs audiences cracked up the second the intimidating Dark Helmet lifted his mask to reveal…Rick Moranis. Comic legend.

  3. The younger neighbor boy, Ron, was played by Jared Rushton. You've seen him at least twice before. He was one of Kurt Russel's boys in Overboard, and he was Tom Hanks' buddy in Big.

  4. Bonjour ⚜️👋
I'm from Louisiana, and when I was a kid watching this movie for the first time, seeing the scorpion 🦂scene, I thought 💭 it was a evil crawfish 🦞

  5. Back in those days where your parents didn't care as long as you were back before the street lights came on or unless you were brought home by the police other than that you were fine

    I have a question please….
Do you think you would recongnize me at this size on the floor when you sweep up or would you see me in your bowl of cereal!??😍🙏

  7. This entire ordeal is all the neighbor dad's fault. Going on a fishing trip with the family you should have been out of the house by like 6 or 7am the absolute latest, and if there's a 4 hour drive (not really that long at all), probably 5am. But here they are dilly dallying to what seems like 10am. He's all about sleeping in when he should be getting up with full daylight out.

  8. When my family went to Disney World in 1990, my cousin and I got to "ride" the bee from this movie. It was a studio tour setup to demonstrate how they used greenscreen effects on a giant "bee" prop to film it. It was pretty cool.

  9. The two sequels made after this are definitely good bits of fun and i HIGHLY recommend them. I grew up with all three and i have nothing but fond memories of watching them with my mom. we still reference them all the time lmao
