  1. Hey everyone! First of all…CAN YOU BELIEVE that we are this close to retiring the "I Feel Cheap" clip. It is absolutely mind blowing to us that that happened TWO years ago…there have been way too many rubbermaid tote showers that happened between then and now and to think it's almost behind us is a feeling that's hard to describe. Also, thanks for letting us open up and ramble at the end of the video, we've been dealing with some stuff off camera that's been sorta compounding and we're really trying to be more mindful and present lately. Also – If you didn't see the update on the community tab of YouTube, we've made the decision to switch our posting time back to be 4:00pm EST. A lot of you reached out saying you were having trouble finding the videos or they stopped showing up for you completely. It has been 3 years of posting at this time so I can totally understand why it's been confusing so hopefully this time works and helps out with the confusion ❤ As always, we hoped you enjoyed the video and can't wait to keep the momentum going with this huge project!

  2. Hi Tyler & Todd, I love you both. Your videos are really enjoyable to watch because of the relationship you have between the 2 of you. Now this is going to be a very odd question to ask! I’m in the market for a new camera and it appears that the camera you use is a great camera for Day and night use. If I’m not being rude to ask, would you share what camera and lens you use? I really would appreciate that information. Thanks in advance. ❤

  3. Hi, guys… Take a deep breath, and one day at a time. You are doing an amazing job, and keep in mind that a job well-done prevents problems down the road. The fact that it has taken so long is a testament to your dedication to doing things right, and you should be so proud of all you have accomplished so far. The greatest thing, though, is that you are able to take this journey together, to live and enjoy each day together. You do such a wonderful job of holding each other up, and being grateful for each other. It is so sweet to see. That being said…WOW Todd was on a roll!! LOL Love you guys! From CT, USA

  5. Yes to the pressure, but also don't forget the extreme weather you guys are dealing with right now and how that might be affecting your mental health. Historically, winter is the season of rest and reflection. Your bodies and minds will be moving a little slower in the cold, so be extra gentle during this season. You've already done so much, it's okay to slow down for a little bit.

  6. Oh you guys make me smile ❤ we spent a year making our house twice as big, so every time you guys have one of those “ this isn’t how I thought it would go” moments, I have flashbacks lol. My husband and his carpenter friend put the stairs together wrong and they were so steep you could only get half a foot on each step😂 I tried to tell them that they needed to go above the mark but they told me to never mind and went below the mark. I got a huge laugh at the looks on their faces when they were done and stepped back to really look.😂 the memories you will get from this whole enterprise will be absolutely priceless ❤ keep on rolling with it guys.

  7. Don't underestimate what you've already achieved. It's HUGE! Not to mention all the skills you've acquired along the way. In addition to the "To Do" List – Made a "Done It!" List (or ✅Map of your property) 😊

  8. Needless to say as soon as I came home from my flight yesterday, my husband patiently waited since Sunday, so we could watch your latest video together. We are so happy for you both, this is such a huge accomplishment and you both can be very proud of what you achieved so far. We find you not just a wonderful inspiration to everyone, but you are such kind and loving people. We love your sense of humor, but admire that you are also able to show your mistakes and hardships along the way. Wishing you all the best and can't wait to watch the next video of your journey 🥰

  9. It’s a really fun and creative T&T vlog,
I’m looking forward to Part 2 episode.
T&T vlogs are back on track…
    …but is everything Ok?
    My honest opinion 😊 is:
    – The short answer: everything’s fine you just need some more time cuz it was overwhelming for a long time. This’s really hard work but you’re very creative, likable and fun… so you also have to be your best PR manager, right?
    – The long answer: each vlog should briefly summarize what’s going on (that really matters for the episode), sometimes you also have to contextualize it… and finally explain what’s next all the time (or at least what’s expected), do it at the beginning of the vlog, at the end, during or whatever but do it creatively since you’ve the older Van viewer, the longtime fan, the Dome viewer, the recent shipping container viewer and eventually the brand new one, you should address everyone (in order to attract and hold the viewer’s attention) but do it knowing that the shipping container house is at the center, is the main focus point, is the star of the moment… easy job, right?
    – The encrypted long answer: each T&T vlog should be like a good meal with starter, main course, dessert and digestif (some of the greatest conversations happens as the digestif is served) however you always can skip a course (if you do, explain it) nevertheless you can’t skip an invitation/teaser for another meal for the following week. Yes, it’s a kind of a date, a weekly rendezvous for the next few months… and most importantly both parties (T&T and the Viewer) must know that the main dish is the shipping container house, everything is or should be related to it and keeping variety at its best… a piece of cake right?

  10. Hey you 2…Hello from Ontario. I can and know exactly how you are feeling about getting water. When we first purchased our cottage we took water from the lake to wash with, dishes etc. it was a pain in the a$$. Now we have a well and a Shed where we can shower.. and do dishes with hot and cold running water. Happy, happy
