This soundtrack is giving me the the sinking feeling that the LF campaign will feel a LOT like the vanilla Y1 Red War. Not sure how to feel about that tbh.

We must survive this chapter in our story arc, as we fight to keep our solar system, and commit the souls of our enemies to the void. Do not falter, do not let your muscles nor your minds fall into stasis, move forward guardians. Keep moving forward but do not give an inch, today we hold the line.

Hearing the inner light and beyond light motif alongside the new lightfall motif is so refreshing yet nostalgic

i could see my frames dropping with how many enemies showed up for this bit
Hoping this is part of the raid music. One thing I noticed is how much more prominent the beyond light/look within motif is featured throughout the lightfall soundtrack. Makes sense when you consider the motif for the light is Inner Light (vanilla destiny 2 motif) and the motif for the darkness sub classes is beyond light. And since we're getting a new darkness sub class now, its only fitting Bungie uses that same motif to reinforce it's meaning

I fell asleep on youtube and woke up to this video im not mad about it tho.
This moment in the campaign was Destiny at its best. Absolutely fucking epic facing down Calus's army alongside Caiatl and her soldiers
This was the first time they made it feel like we were actually facing an entire army. Hundreds of enemies, like 6 tanks, threshers, and a handful of tormentors. Watching Caiatl facetank an actual tank was pretty awesome. And watching tormentors absolutely slaughter the cabal defense was equally terrifying.
