  1. Just as a note, many of the enemies have interesting interactions with various spells that you havn't been taking advantage of. In general some spells like Glacius cause the next attack to do more damage, so glacius followed by diffendo or bombarda can do massive amounts of damage. You can use depulso on a troll right after it does the blockable slam attack to knock it's club into its head for some big damage and also it puts the troll into a stunned state where any attack does extra damage. For the Dugbogs you can use levioso on them as they get ready to launch their tongue at you which will make them hang by their tongue, while in this state diffindo on them will do massive damage, usually one-shotting them. Other enemies have interesting interactions as well, but for most enemies your tactics in the mid to late game was just to throw all the damaging spells at them, which is actually less effective then learning the system. You can go into your collections, then to enemies, and read up on these strategies for discovered enemies, so it's not like it's difficult to learn that they exist.
