Great job guys
Absolutely love this layout….seen it many a time & bought a number of kits from Phil too. Is Pete aiming to make a miniature WCML in its entirety? 🤣
Absolutely brilliant as usual
Those buildings are amazing. Hats off to Phil.
That is looking fantastic, can't wait to see the buildings and layout completed in its entirety
Phil knocking it out of the park as usual. It's astounding what modern digital tools make possible.
Phil's model's are exceptional. Can't wait to see it in person.
I would have preferred it if it was built pre-electrification.
Damn right, you've changed the scale of modeling… just wish i had more space to do one myself 🙂
How do you cover the dark cut edges of the mdf find it difficult for paint to cover the laser cut edges of mdf
Imagine if it never ends and the layout just grows and grows and grows, possibly even long after we're all dead… It'll be massive and maybe even become a permanent tourist attraction similar to Miniatur Wunderland in Germany.
However, the best thing about this is that you can look at a small section of the layout and imagine actually building that small piece in your own loft/shed/spare room, maybe with a tunnel at one end and a bridge at the other.
Fantastic video and update Mike. Still lots to do. I will be finishing off the flats from the 4th of October. See you all soon. Take care. Andy
@2:19, that is something. The layout is going to be spectacular.
Pete is pushing the boundaries of what is possible. A pioneering group.
They need to return all the railway franchises back to single management of British Rail and then put Pete in charge of the whole bloody lot. Then we’ll have a railway system to be proud of in this country.
British modellers are really quite funny.
They do their utmost to ensure fidelity to scale and originality in detail, and reproduce this on a narrow-gauge system.
That requires some really special brain acrobatics, doesn't it?
