Wowza! The librarian in me was coming to the fore with the yearbooks, Polk directories (basement cabinet) and the church ephemera. All these items were much sought after by the library for the local history room. We would get constant calls from people wanting to look at yearbooks. Last year, my friend's church had a major anniversary and we were looking for all kinds of church history. It's not always archived well. I hope the church in this video has duplicates of the wonderful stuff you found. Kudos to the people who collected all this documentation, it was quite a collection. The hoosier in the side room was unexpected. My cats were very happy that you purchased a cat item! And they said to say hi to Daisy! And welcome to the hunt, Dake!

I was just looking at real estate online when I started this video on my tablet. I immediately went to Auburn NY and the first place I clicked on tas this exact house, lol. It was weird watching the video and then seeing the house empty.

Wow, the Beach Boys lot was cool to see – any Brian Wilson fans have a guess as to who "David" is? Possibly David Marks, the original guitarist from the BB's?? Heard he lives in NY.. also interesting that Brian printed his name instead of doing his traditional signature. Makes me think "David" and Brian are on a first name personal basis. Or maybe it's just the "David Beard" as seen in the photo next to it – probably the case, but still makes you wonder how it ended up in NY. edt: read an article from the Charlotte Observer, pretty much explains that David Beard ran the magazine, became close friends with the Beach Boys & eventually produced them in the studio, so I think it's safe to say we have the right David lol.

Sweet story about Dake and his grandmother. Hope she enjoys every moment at sales with him. My grandson is 18 now but when he was 7 or 8, we used to go to antique stores to look for old NASCAR items. He loved old typewriters and was fascinated with a comptometer. The Atlanta Braves foam tomahawk brought back memories too. We lived in Greenville, SC and we had for a time the Greenville Braves, double AA for the Atlanta Braves. Many of the players came thru Greenville on their way to Atlanta. My daughter had an Atlanta Braves foam tomahawk. Doubt she still has it! Sweet Daisy – such a cute face!

I no longer have an outlet for selling and I won't ship, but I still pick up stuff I can refurbish, upscycle or just flip locally. I am hoping to get a space at a local shop in the near future and will continue to work doing sets for an estate sale facilitator. I get to be one of the first to see an estate and I will dig for the good stuff.
My favorite item was the Braves foam tomahawk. I lived in a very small town in Oregon growing up and the only tv channel we got was TBS out of Atlanta, so we watched many Braves games, but pre 1991.
Dom, I want you to know that I have your voice in my head nowadays, when I am out on the hunt. 😄 I follow your advice to always go down on the floor to look behind and underneath things. I haven't found much of reselling value, but quite a few gems to my personal collection. Thank you!

Hi Dominic! 63.8K subscribers? When did all that happen? It was just 50,000!!!! My favorite item was the bread box – I thought it was so pretty. 2nd was the clock, it was beautiful! Some of the prices were definitely 'up there.' Even at 50% off on the final day I'd think they were high. At the very end, Daisy's little face was saying "Well Daddy, let me out!"
Our family loves your content! My brother saw that box of items and it brought him so much joy. I hope to be able to get him some of those for him one day.
