  1. It's so eye-opening seeing someone that isn't immersed in military life watch HLC's videos. I've known exactly what was going on from the very first video, but hearing someone say, "I dont know what the planes represent just yet," really kinda blew me away. You'll get there, Teach. Just keep asking questions.

  2. The planes are main characters in the HLC Cinematic Universe. The old one is Grandpa Buff, the B-52. The Kid is the F-22, the computer with wings is the F-35, he has characters for the F-15, F-16, A-10, the Sky Warden, destroyers, all sorts of vehicles

  3. Ok, the b-52 bomber is Butch, the old man because of how long the b52 has been in service.

The throwing Canada under the bus is about thier war crimes in ww2

Japanese Unit 731, did a lot of horrific tests like the human beef jerky thing…. habitual line crosser and others in the unsubscŕibe podcast realm talk about it a lot

15:27 look at the flag over old imperial japan and the modern map japan. It's the story japan vs the modern japan hearing the story

  4. Habitual Line Crosser and Fat Electrician are good friends. They are part of a group of YouTubers consisting of veterans and gun tubers that work together on a lot of things. I believe an episode of Unsubscribe actually had both on it at the same time.

  5. Dude, you're allowed to actually play more than a quarter second of video before reacting. You don't need to be talking at alllllllll times. It's ok to play enough video to see what's happening. "True." "Sure!" "Shut up England!"

  6. Another piece of history that a lot of people don’t know is Fleet Problem 13 . This was a military exercise that simulated a possible attack on Pearl Harbor from a militarized island nation. The commander of the attacking force was able to successful launch an aerial attack which disabled the airfields on Pearl and do extensive damage. The Japanese studied this exercise and made it the frame for their successful attack.

  7. The IJN after Pearl Harbor: “Why do I hear boss music”?
USS Enterprise: “It’s not boss music. It’s the music for your funeral. This, is for Pearl”. sinks Budo Kutai and the remnants of their Navy and Air Force
Admiral: “She’s an aircraft carrier! Not some ghost of vengeance”!
    Sailor: “No. She is wrath”.

  8. The gravity of that “2,100 people” is that: some innocent Americans were caught in the crossfire, some of those deaths were friendly fire from all the chaos. Half of those deaths were from Arizona alone. And most painful, we had lost more men/sailors then, than we had in WW1. It was the greatest military disaster of our naval history. It may have not been as bad as the blitz. But the point was the lives lost, but more importantly, how it affected America, and changed the country, the war, as a result.

  9. Don't forget that bit about the carriers not being there was significant for how the attack went down. There were more waves planned but Yamamoto called it off because he was afraid they could face a counter attack not knowing where they were. This is a big reason the Japanese neglected to hit critical targets such as the repair facilities and fuel storage. In fact the battle went down as a tactical victory but a strategic failure. Hell, the battleships were last in line of attack priorities the carriers were first (not being there threw off the targeting priority of the Japanese pilots) then the cruisers were and they were largely untouched.

  10. You know what’s ironic about America putting an embargo and starting beef with Japan? How Japan struck back in rejection to this? America put a gun, several naval battleships, to Japan’s head. Forcing them to open back up to the world again. We went from friends, then allies. And despite Yamamoto and others reluctant, and earning higher ups not to go to war with America, the Emperor made Japan’s navy attack our boats.

  11. It’s a bit funny how history plays out. Today, there’s an anime based off a mobile game called, “Azur Lane”. Featuring the main character, Enterprise. Yes, THAT, Enterprise. The Big E, The dreaded Grey Ghost, Enty, our Lucky E, CV-6. And she’s voiced by a Japanese VA. The promotional animation actually depicts Enty’s personality pretty well. Based off her history. She’s a stubborn, stoic warrior that changes the tide of a battle when she shows up, and almost sinks to obtain victory. She actually dies a few times in the anime, and comes back stronger before she kills Akagi, Kaga, and other ships at what is meant to be Midway. The faction representing Japan: Sakura Empire, fears her. Enty even shows up later after Sakura Empire attacks Azur Lane’s harbor. Meant to convey Pearl Harbor, and Enterprise showing up late just in time to look over the carnage and promptly slaughter the IJN afterwards.

  12. Habitual linecrosser does a lot of military news comedy. The airplanes are all military aircraft. The big old plane is Grandpa Buff the B-52 stratosphere bomber. Cant remember the other onenthat was in this video but it's our version of a flying super computer. The 2 Japans are WW2 Japan and Modern Japan. The US is telling the story if Pearl Harbir so when it shows Japan as just red with its old Flag think of it like a flashback and when it shows Japan as just a map of the country it's Modern Japan.

  13. As a fan of Habitual Linecrosser, Grandpa Buff, aka the B-52 Stratofortress (plane), is the grandpa of the Air Force family 100+ years of military service and still going and the other air craft was the F-35 (Buff likes to call a computer because that's what it practically is a flying super computer). if you watch the other military related videos, you'll eventually meet the whole Air Force family and then you'll see each funny stereotype of each thing he green screens

  14. A little cc here. Its comedy roll with the punches, laugh, dont take it too seriously. Profanity=adult language. Language that adults use. Not everyone shelters their children from life or works in a profession where censorship of adult language is tolerated.
