Passenger trains are forced to be by government all operating at a loss. American rail roads stopped service in the 50 s because of loss of riders due to cars . Amtrak is operating at a loss every year but forced to run under government taxes
Dynamometer … 100mph
♥️ Flying Scotsman ♥️ … STEAM POWER LOCOMOTIVE
Why on earth restrict the video to not work in the UK?! 🤬
Wish we had modern public transit in the U.S.
not taking over the world because North and South America are not even close to really doing it.
We're supposed to be getting some hi-speed rail in California any day now. 🤣🤣🤪
Now why did i see this in Curiosity stream !?
Not in America. America is a backward, violent, racist country.
China got Western and Japanese railroad technologies whichever ways it could and toss them out like used tissue paper. Hopefully they learned their lessons.
Why didn't they just download a speedometer app on their phone or use a radar gun? Thata been alot easier than having a whole dyno car….just sayin.
Here in Egypt we are building 2500km network of high speed 🚄 connecting the whole country
The British Railway network needs to be rebuilt to the scale of 1960 and at the same time rebuild British Industry
It’s quite amazing that about a 100 years ago we had almost none of the modern amenities, and even more amazing that in 50 years we went to the moon. Technological advancements in the 20th century was just unreal.
