Please enjoy this reorchestration and arrangement of the His Dark Materials theme song recreated for a full Symphony Orchestra setting. It was originally Composed by Lorne Balfe. Rights go to him, Silvia Screen Records, HBO and BBC. I do not own the original music, this rearrangement was made entirely for fun.
There are a few changes added in to give a fuller orchestra sound such as the addition of Vibraphone, Contrabassoon, Piccolo, and Bass Clarinet. There are some easter eggs scattered throughout as well….such as a nod to Bach’s Prelude in C minor from the WTC in one of the harp parts (try to see if you can spot it 😀
