  1. Offsides or not MLS teams been getting everything in favor , this tournament is setup for them to win , Central American refs hate Mexican teams lol so easy to tell so taste of their own medicine

  2. I think this game was very boring excluding the minutes 80-96. I saw 80% of this game due to the other games I wanted to watch suffering weather delays. The only thing I missed was the Talles Magno shot at 45+2. Jordy Caicedo in his debut showed Atlas haven’t found their Quiñones, Furch, and probably Oziel replacement, and are really gonna struggle this year. Jordy Caicedo, when I saw the game, was given the ball 8 times. In those 8 times only in 1 of them he did a half decent play. The rest of the team of Atlas played decent but their attack is really gonna have a hard time to score goals this season.
Nycfc played bellow average, the only one who didn’t was Talles Magno which in the future will 100% leave to europe. They had good positioning when attacking, but they suck at through balls. I think I saw 10 through balls by Nycfc that if one of them was a good pass it could have been a goal, and none of them were good and only in 1 of those occasions the attacker managed to reach the ball. He lost the ball and overall all their attack didn’t do nothing all the game, excluding Talles Magno, and made Camilo Vargas have a pleasant evening in the goal. Also MLS teams need to invest in goalkeepers because Nycfc goalkeeper is worth 300k and he showed why. Every single shot Atlas did good or bad he wasn’t able to hold on to the ball. He would have definitely cost Nycfc a goal if Jordy Caicedo and all of Atlas attack were better in his debut. Also I have seen in these tournament horrid defence positioning, especially when Miami didn’t play with Busquets, and overall lack of tactical capabilities by managers. Above average liga mx sides should beat ANY MLS team without much of a problem, but if MLS don’t address their lack of talent in defence and ESPECIALLY in their tactics liga mx will always be better than the MLS.

  3. Haak was clearly onside and the ball was played by the defender anyway. It was called onside on the field. This was improper use of VAR. The review lasted at least 5 minutes. The point of VAR is clear and obvious. If it takes 5 minutes with today's technology, then it's not clear and obvious. Yet they still somehow got it all wrong. This play was adjudicated twice and ultimately was a terrible officiating decision that decided the match. Goal should have stood 1-1.

  5. whoever made the call on nycfc goal should be demoted as their understanding of offside is poor. was he offside when they kicked the ball arguable, but it came off the header and at that point he is onside, the fact he missed that is pretty poor.

    Gracias.

Definitely offside btw, came off of NYCFC player, then Atlas player. Offside at first, second touch doesn’t count cause Nervo deflected it, not passed it

  8. En un torneo oficial no se jugaría en esa cancha tan fea y con las líneas todas chuecas y así van hacer el mundial y la copa América con este tipos de estadios en malas condiciones para jugar
