  1. Apart from Alisson, the squad needs a full revamp. New competitions for players who have been playing at the top level for many years and now what happened? key Injuries almost every season and adding salt to the wound, those players who are deemed "Fit" to play are suffering serious fatigue. Many seasons have passed and we managed to pull through together. But this fact and figures are potential details to really look into and find a solution. Are we moving forward, yes we do for the past few seasons but we fall short for the league title and the champion league finals. We were lucky to get this far the last few seasons where we were the mentality monsters, the comeback winning games. Would this indicate that the signs are there that we are lacking other elements. However we stay on and want to buy wisely the right player but even currently we dont really have the "right" players yet they are still in the team for years. And where are they? treatment room. The midfield is the engine room and we have 10 midfielders? as written in the article. henderson no longer a first eleven, james milner? i skip, keita nowhere to be seen from time to time, Ox chamberlain only those fantastic out of nowhere beautiful goals, he wasnt a midfield type of player tbh. harvey elliott and fabio carvalho both are promising young players but they are playing with so much expectations. Harvey elliott best position a winger, see his stint with blackburn. thiago alcantara is the most skillful midfielder without him? who next? injuries are a problem for him. Curtis jones? is he a midfielder ? well developed at his age now but yah a stop start career. Melo? he never plays a single epl game and he is injured. when he is available but yet he isnt the right player to at least let him play instead of other lethargic players, i was thinking like we have nothing to lose anymore yet the subs are below par when they try to come on and save the games. I felt sorry for fabinho the lighthouse because he couldn't control everything in the middle of also protecting the backline, screening and reading the game. And his partners? chop and change. All these 10 midfielders sounded like we have 3 teams of midfielders with 3 each of formation 433 and we have 1 extra midfielder. The truth is we can barely name 3 potential midfielders who can boss and run the game without much fatigue and niggling injuries. I am exhausted now.

  2. Nunez is really worrying me. Yes he’s scoring goals, but it’s too easy to take the ball off him and whenever he gets into a good goal scoring or assisting position he makes all the wrong decisions.

Against City he failed to play the ball to Salah, who would have been clean through, in favour of holding onto it.

And against Leeds he had a chance to chip the Keeper and put us 2-1 up but decided against it for reasons only he knows.

He needs to become smarter with the ball and fast because we cannot keep missing these chances.
