  2. Personally as an Irish man think it’s good Ireland got a good scare so close to the World Cup we breezed Italy and we breezed England. This shows we aren’t unbeatable like some think we are. I do believe the extended windows in which the likes of Samoa, Fiji and Tonga have had together training as one shows they can be a real threat if they get it right. Fair play on a tough test match both teams

  3. Our Islanders will give the big teams a really tough time. One of the biggest improvements I have seen with Fiji, Samoa and Tonga are their confidence during the match is very good. They know what they’re doing. The biggest contributing factor is the super rugby competition where incisions of Pacifika and Drua have built the pacific players up and given them a good exposure.

Good luck Manu Samoa 🇼🇸 and Ikale Tahi Tonga 🇹🇴,

  4. Those carries by Samoa towards the end of the game were absolutely huge! So impressive! Those guys are warriors. Huge respect after that performance.

  5. What a performance Samoa, they kept the pressure on Ireland and managed to keep the score close. For a team like Ireland, I'd say this was a good test match. All the best from 🇫🇯

  6. Should Herring’s try at the end have been allowed? His knee touches the ground while he’s at the back of the maul and then he gets back up and continues walking for a few metres before scoring. I thought that only players who were on their feet were considered to be capable of playing/being active.

  7. I read most of the comments on here, but I seen most of them before, if the people where rugby fans, they would remember the 6 nations, when we lost 5 players and people said we would not win next game, ye all forgot its on the day, that what counts,

  8. I'm Fijian but I personally think that Samoa played much better and smarter in this game than the Fijians did against England. Well done to Samoa. No doubt you will pull through from your RWC pool
