High Rank!! | Fromsoft Player Tries Monster Hunter World : First Playthrough (Part 19)

Starting the Final Fantasy Crossover Event, fighting Behemoth solo and attempting my first Black Diablos fight.

As someone that has thousands of hours in FromSoft games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Sekiro and Elden Ring, Monster Hunter World has been an incredible experience and is quickly becoming a favourite! I’m so excited to see how the game, weapons, armour, worlds and monsters progress!

This is from stream 10 of playing Monster Hunter: World. Originally live streamed on Twitch!

  1. Solo Behemoth without using enhancement items, what are you doing, girl… hahaha All the involuntary masochism was really entertainer to see, sure, but… I know you don't like "interferences in your play style", but it's something basic, please do yourself a favor and learn how to use enhancement items like demondrugs, armorskins, also pills, powders. See(in game if you don't want to search) how itswork, how to make it and how to use , you'll find it cool and useful, it's a win win situation. Please don't take my insistence the wrong way, I'm just telling you something basic, it's like showing a new Souls player that it's possible to improve the estus.

  2. Fun fact: There is an official MH DMC cross over song, though it's only on YouTube in an AMV titled "☆彡 【MAD】アイルーメイクライ【DMC×MHP2G】" from 11 years ago.
Also, the particular DMC song in Code Red changes based on the weapon you use in it, and changes again for some after you engage in combat. You can listen to them all while you learn the new weapons.
Also also, they really want you to do multiplayer for Behemoth. You did well solo. When someone has Behemoth's enmity, he is much less likely to cast Charybdis, but flashing him will remove the enmity. If you need to flinch him out of something, I believe every 7th crystal burst you shoot him with will cancel an attack without risking enmity.
I forgot to mention last time, but you can put out Lunastra's flame patches by attacking them with water weapons or shooting them with crystal bursts, and tempered monsters can only be flashed twice in an entire hunt.

  3. I straight up quit after the kulu final fantasy mission , that quest was such BS and pissed me off. He could literally leap from a different dimension and kill you, it was impossible to hit him, and playing charge blade against him as just straight unplayable

  4. If you bring materials to make consumables you can make more on the fly. Bring honey+potions to make more mega potions or better yet take mega nutrients and mandragora mushrooms to make more max potions so you can have more than 2 per quest. Also if you use the radial menu to take something your out of and you have the stuff to make it, it will craft it for you
