  1. A perfect pelt requires a one shot hit to preseve it regardless of using the correct weapon ( which you did on the first go) . I think the wanted was from someone discovering the bodies of those that tried to rob you.

  2. Hi Shay, When you restart from checkpoint during a mission it counts as using a health item, that is what happened in your last mission when Hosea died. You would have to restart mission to avoid this unfortunately. Keep the great work 🤠 BTW 41:06 on your left, can't believe you missed it 😉

  3. "That's my brother Fenton. He's a bit funny, but boy, can he pour drinks! Just don't get him mad. His momma made him mad… and we buried her, poor thing." Well, Hosea, that escalated quickly. I love how Hosea can come up with all these crazy stories on the spot, truly a natural born huckster.

  4. Thanks for the vids that feel like I'm just watching a friend play their game! 🙂

Wanted to let you know about the 3-star/clean shots – in addition to using the preferred weapon type, if you don't get a good first shot on it, the more you shoot it (or I think if you don't hit it on a good body part), it ruins the pelts (unless its a Legendary, those don't have a star-rating); so if you pull off a single one of those nice headshots you always make, that should retain the quality.

You'd also asked in an earlier episode about Split-Point bullets. Not sure if you discovered it, yet, but while you're crafting at camp, you can turn your regular bullets into split-point ones, which do a bit more damage when you switch to them on your weapons. It takes a little bit of time since they're one at a time, but is an easy button-click activity while you're doing a crafting round, eventually ending up with a pile of'em to use.

Good luck, and keep on keepin' on with the Shaynanigans! 🙂

  5. The Braithwaite manor is based on a real place, Oak Alley plantation, in south Louisiana, just east of New Orleans. It is pretty darn accurate as portrayed in the game, with the long, majestic row of live oaks lining the entrance. I don't know if they still do, but they used to hold weddings there, which would be pretty cool.
