This incredible scene was captured during a rescue operation that took place on the highway following a traffic accident involving a car and a van. Five people were seriously injured in the crash and needed to be transported to the nearest hospital as quickly as possible. However, due to the long distance and heavy traffic, this wasn’t feasible. So, the rescue helicopter crew decided to do something extraordinary—they landed directly on the highway to get the injured to safety faster. These heroes managed to save five lives that day. Hats off to them!

This is done in Europe, Canada snd mostly everywhere. Of course the pilots are heroes, just like allrescue personell.

This goes on all the time all over the world. Also note, that style chopper only carries 1 patient. Three crew. Stateside usually a pilot, flight paramedic, and flight nurse.

This so called directly landing on hwy by rescue helicopters happens all the time. Helicopters landed under fire in war zones to rescue wounded all the time. So please tell us again how special this one is
