Hero Ukrainian tanker puts out fire on moving vehicle amid bitter tank battles with Russia

Hero Ukrainian tankers are risking their lives in order to stop Russia capturing their country. In this video, an FPV drone strikes a Ukrainian tank while it is hitting Russian lines, causing it to burst into flames. The driver quickly retreats from battle, while the tank commander risks his life to save the tank and crew. While the vehicle is speeding along, he gets out of the turret and uses a fire extinguisher to douse the flames. He manages to put the fire out, and lives to fight another day. More footage shows different Ukrainian tanks launching close-quarters attacks on Russian defences. Tanks have proved vital in the war in Ukraine, whose wide-open countryside and flat terrain favours vehicle attacks rather than infantry charges on foot. But the risks to tank crews have been escalating thanks to FPV drones, which can precisely deliver high-explosive warheads on to their weakest parts. Russia, in particular, has suffered very heavy vehicle losses and it is now rare to see tanks out the open. Even rarer are tank-on-tank battles between the two sides. Instead, both Ukraine and Russia favour short, sharp attacks against heavily entrenched enemy positions which makes best use of the tank’s firepower while placing it at minimum risk. It is not just tanks having a hard time in Ukraine, however, as a Russian radar system was also targeted by rockets. Video shows the Russians setting up the radar when it is hit dead-on by a Ukrainian missile. The vehicle sets on fire, so the crew try to put it out using a fire extinguisher. But they’re forced to run for cover when a second missile comes streaking in. The second blast destroys both radar and crew. #russia #Ukraine #war

    – Ethnic Tensions: The Russian Federation is a diverse country with numerous ethnic groups and regions. A significant defeat could heighten ethnic tensions and fuel separatist sentiments in various areas.
    It seems plausible that, faced with such dire consequences, the Russian Federation might feel compelled to use nuclear weapons in a restrained way.
