  1. At least YG (and JYP) allowed iKon and GOT7 to keep their name. Remember TVXQ and JYJ killed by that Lee Soo Man. A tradition followed by Blockberry Entertainment against Loona and many other companies against many other young people.

  2. all the musical things that were done at yg was huge but no one can deny that , they give thier artists few comebacks, and that’s how they do waste blackpinks talent although this year they had a comeback but they sitll can’t give everything to blackpink as in of the biggest girl groups, and they still didn’t have time to attend any award shows or music show for comebacks and promotions we don’t know , yg needs more producers not because they are bad but because they don’t have time to mange their artists music or they did that with all of thier artists we don’t know, but if yg rearrange thier management and having more producers and giving thier artists what they deserve they will be huge even with these kind of scandals , and showing more from thier idols because you can’t find any yg artists without talent and speciality they are amazing, it’s like a dream to see blackpink to have 2 comebacks in a year and even thier promotions were not good in korea and us also generally but they still were survived but it’s like a dream to see yg do that …..

  3. YGE is the laughing stock of the Music Industry, and not just in Korea, but world wide. What is happening to YGE? They are failing. Too many of their artists have been exposed to more international music artists and have learned we don't have to put up with this crap to be an artist. YGE is holding on by a thread. If and when BP abandons ship… the YG ship will sink. Yang needs to buy more stock, hire good people, and sit back and earn money. But like all true narcissist's, Yang thinks he is invincible, and has the greatest plans. You are watching the fall of YGE. It is only Korean laws that has stopped outside agencies from buying out YGE and making it a subsidiary of the bigger brand, like Sony or Interscope. IMPO I believe Teddy is positioning himself to be able to pick up the pieces of YGE and make Black Label into the new independent force to be reckoned with in the K-Pop world.

  4. Because KPOP industry wouldn’t be as famous as it is today without YG and it’s artists, we can’t deny it. YG’s strong roots that deeply embedded to KPOP industry that made them standing still, so despite the scandals and bullying of other conglomerate businesses towards them. YG is a mighty tree. Hahaha..
So, who’s the clan with the master plan.
    YG baby!
    YG baby! 😅

  5. YG is not a real company, their financial makes no sense. Each BP comeback sell a lot of "Albums" and viewership, but makes almost no money. It lake YG spend a ton of money on hype and bot farm. YG stock as of writing this post is market cap 740 million USD with an P/E ratio of 38. If you know anything about finance, that is horrible. One of the most overvalue company, but only worth 730 million

  6. I don’t feel like idols leave yg more than any other company some just aren’t successful and don’t get supported and some have been in the company their whole life and decide they want something new

  7. All this company deserves is Seungri and the likes of him. The other artists are suffering due to company's incompetency and rotten infrastructure. It's time for a new and fair huge company to come forward and take care of the decent artists who are stuck in this hellhole.

  8. This company will never shoot back to it's glory. The way they treated 2NE1 and how they are dismissing BP is unacceptable. BP is a worldwide known group. You don't delay their projects, especially for the artists who are yet to debut. The new ones will barely be recognizable whilst the world demands BP. With SM and HYBE joining forces, YG is forever out of the league. The company has royally fkd up its status.

  10. I think the biggest issue with Kpop's views towards YG is that majority of the kpop stans of 2023 joined only in the last 3 or 4 years and their first experience with YG was the "scandals" of 2019. It also didn't help that YG releases all their artist content under their own branding, so everyone's perception of the artist brand is usually positive, while the perception of the agency can roll from positive to extremely negative. With that foundation, its no wonder that new Kpop fans affiliate YHS with negativity. He is unliked and many times hated for his "treatment" of current YG groups and there is this perception that he is a plague to the Kpop industry. What many people don't do is research what exactly is the history of YG and the persecution of the entertainment industry and Korean public of YGs freedom loving artists.

Just the other week, an idol was tested positive for consuming Marijuana. He will be tried and his career will be suspended, but the public backlash for him was not as severe or even as sickening as it was against B.I, Ikons leader in 2019, when it was found out that he was "THINKING about taking marijuana" to cope with his stress. He DID NOT go ahead with the purchase. He DID NOT partake in the drug. But just the text messages that he was thinking about it was enough to launch a nation wide crusade against him at the same time that the Korean public was against Bom for her medically prescribed pills and against Seungri for a case that he was acquitted of all heinous charges except the last thing they could pin him for (gambling i think) – but was more importantly, the scapegoat in the public scene for at least 2 other chaebols.

YG must have rubbed some chaebol families wrong sometime in his history, because the Korean media massacred the agency to the point they were trading at negative share price. If it wasn't for Lisa's Youth With You gigs in China, that injected much needed USD millions in cash inflow that quarter, i don't know what would have happened to YG.

To note, im not justifying the current mistreatment of some artists and artists leaving an agency we grew up with them in is sad. But what i've found is that compared to other agencies, YGA and ex-YGA always keep in touch with YG and their seniors and juniors even when they've left. The "family" stays, though, not always in the ways we thought. I think we should give YG time. With Seungri coming back and BI and CL stronger than ever. 2023 will be their year.

  11. Funny how some this fans want there idols to leave yg and yet cant give any company they should go.. always mistreated.. if they give the group more comeback fans would be like stop abusing are idols let them rest and yet if the company dont give them many comebacks theyll still do whine about it.. do you really care about the idols or just for your satisfactions? Company like YG who manage not just idols but also dancers, actors/actresses and models so expected that the amount of money must be divided accordingly.. how many groups under YG? Is it a good action for YG to make a comeback for 2 or 3 groups in a year? Remember how much money yg been spending in every comeback? Is it that bad for them to wait for a ROI before to plan again another groups comeback?

  12. Kookilit’s videos keep improving. I didnt know any of these when I was a supporter of their music and groups. Sucks, but this shone a light on many issues that were swept under the rug. Thanks
