“I Thought It Was You” is a 1978 single by Herbie Hancock, taken from the album “Sunlight”. The Single version is significantly shorter, coming in at 3:40 (album version is 8:56). Hearing this single is the first time I’ve heard a Herbie Hancock song that isn’t “Rockit”, “Bring Down The Birds” or “Chameleon”; and although those are great tracks, this is awesome too!
