Yeah, some of those trees are not for building. Too bad they didn't tell you why…. Fun series, but gosh it sure is heavy on chopping and building. I would have like them also start up a food plot and such.
I love the exploration in this game. It was fun seeing all the paths through the woods and discovering new things. Also, itβs great to see your village coming together and finally having the basics taken care of. π
Follow the exclamation marks on your compass. Pin quests "T"
Build more than one axe, and when one breaks, a new one will be in your hot bar.
Villager tasks are only done at season change.
I like both, 1st and 3rd person view, it all depends on what I am doing at the time. If I'm exploring, I like to be in 3rd person as it gives a larger view area, and if I'm cutting down trees, 1st person. As to the tree stumps, experiment by having two stumps that are close to each other. Mark where the trees are and remove one of the stumps, in a few seasons one will be back and the other one does not. lol So how is mouth now? DO NOT KILL THE FOXES!!!! They are the familiar of the temple Goddess and Protect the farms in this game.
1st person is good for general play.
3rd person is ideal for building placement to allow fine positioning.
make sure all workers have tools available in general storage to use or they won't actually work.
Knives, Axes, Hammers, Adzes etc… keep several of each in stock
Grill, the destroyer of forests. LOL
Leaves an offering to Inari, who's animal helpers are foxes…. immediately turns around and kills the fox right next to the shrine. π
I personally love the first person view.
If you give yourself a job you will automajically do it at season change, it's also when your villagers finish theirs
As Im not seeing it here by anyone else: Tips I saw in another YTers video. Have multiple of the tools in your inventory and they auto replace when the one you are using breaks. So have one axe on your hotbar and two more in your inventory, and when the one on your hotbar breaks, it pulls one of the two from your inventory to replace it. Also dont forget that when you give villagers jobs, you need to make sure they have the proper tools. Such as an axe for wood cutters. Put said axe in the storage of the facility. For the foragers, you MIGHT need too put down traps or put a spear in the storage.
