Is there anyone else that feels like the golden fiddle is a possible futurama reference or am I reading a little too much into it?
anyone else get friend like me vibes from the first parts of the song?
Vivienne's two favorite characters just doing a show off who's a better dad for Charlie people.
I absolutely adore Jeremy as Lucifer, his voice is so fitting and his deliveries are all glorious. It's such a toss up deciding which line delivery in this duet is my favorite of his, but I think the "because I'm the ref" one takes the cake because it's just so extra.
Mine is
1. Loser baby
2. Hell’s greatest dad
3. Respectless
日本から この映像は本当に素晴らしいです!
Why are they fighting?… It's like they're step dad and biological father fighting for love from their child… And it's hilarious
There so cute
I can't tell if the golden violin is a violin or a golden fiddle If it's a fiddle then i wonder if it's a call back devil went down to Georgia if it is that is a cool little easter egg 1:09
Isn't this just Genie from Aladin?
The golden fiddle came out you know its going to be real
So a couple of things I noticed, comparing this one to "Stayed Gone":
– Alastor acts condescending towards Lucifer, throws shade and curses him, but never, EVER threatens him like he did with Vox. Alastor might not act like he's afraid of Lucifer, but he's also acting restrained
– Lucifer never feels threatened by him. Jealous of his ties with his daughter? Yes. But never threatened, not even when he sees Alastor go on a rampage.
– That Lucifer's bit, particularly the beginning, follows the style of "Friend like me", could hint at his true power over hell, considering he brags about being able to grant whatever, change the rules and mock Alastor as a minor servant compared to the real king of hell.
Lucifer is the first individual Alastor can't just terrify or destroy. It's doubtful if Lucifer is the most powerful in Hell, but he's definitely high up on the list. Even at his peak, the Radio Demon wasn't ready to challenge a fallen Archangel.
Which means Alastor has to find different ways to outplay Lucifer. Number one is supporting Charlie and making a big show of how he's doing what Lucifer should be doing, but isn't.
You gotta love how guys can turn being supportive into a competition. Alastor probably would have given Charlie anything she wanted while her dad was around, just to piss him off.
Alastor: "You could almost call me…DAD."
Lúcifer: 😠😠😠🎻🎻🎻
For some reason the angelic power but gets stuck in my head
Mimsy showing up and declaring that everyone has been waiting for her is hilarious cuz… We were! We've been waiting to see her for years! I fuggin love her xD
the way i hate mimzy holy shit
This song feels like Alastor wanting to be the only father figure for Charlie so he’s competing with Lucifer
This song is basically friend like me from Aladdin except the genie is a dissociative mental case and I love it
Its a little funny she could call me, daddy 💀
Is no one going to talk about the fact that Al pulled out Niffty from the toilet and then hugged her??????
Alastor really knows how to dig himself into a grave.
POV, Alastor: Its funny, you can also call me. daaaaaaad
Lucifer: … (Bro gotta pull out the fiddle)
I bet the voice actor was having some fun playing as Lucifer 😊
the fact that lucifer has his golden fiddle means he has yet to go down to georgia and challenge johnny to a fiddling contest.
Is anyone going to talk about how Nifty was literally stuck in a toilet 💀
Huh, I guess he got that golden fiddle back from Johnny.
I didnt see who was voicing lucifer before watching this episode and i got partway through this episode and was like
Wait.
IS THAT JEREMY JORDAN
IT IS
