  10. hey think, you cant just jump into the sequel without knowing the story of the first one, all info comes from the wiki, books, games, ect

    the Roth family moved into raven brooks because there dad could find a good news paper job to hold onto, Nicky Roth aka the player aka the kid, was there son, he quickly befriended the kid across the street named Aaron Peterson aka the neighbors son. so skipping a lot of events Nicky Roth finds out that Mr. Peterson aka the neighbor, built an amusement part called "golden apple amusement park", and a roller coaster cart there crashed and killed one of Mya Peterson aka the neighbors daughters friends, named Lucy Yi. so more stuff happens and Diane Peterson aka the neighbors wife, got killed in a car accident. the night before the funeral, Aaron or the neighbor son accidently pushed his sister Mya of of there house roof. Then Mr. Peterson discovered his daughters body and buried it on the morning of his wife's funeral, so after the funeral he locks Aaron in his bedroom. But later on moves him to the basement for an unknow reason, which is what we see in act 1, this is why Aaron is screaming and gets put into the basement. so Nicky Roth breaks in and the gets kidnapped by Mr. Peterson and kept there for 2 to 3 months. Nicky Roth escapes with some help from Aaron. then in act 3 Nicky Roth needs to face his childhood fear of Aarons dad aka the neighbor. when he does he finale gets over his fear of both abandoning Aaron and being scared of Mr. Peterson

    so yeah that's a brief version there's a lot of other characters and a lot of events I left out for time reasons but for those who want to learn the lore there you go respond with any questions and ill be able to answer them
