Let's see if I have this right: divorce – lots of strong emotions, check. A parent feels the need to express themselves, check – wait, whose parent was she? As a parent I'll admit during a messy divorce I might jump in and say something that I hadn't thought through, but I'd be taking my child's side – her highly emotional response was to that the wife's side, not her son's side? That seems rather telling.
