  1. Please don't EVER stand/walk under a boom. Things fail… hydraulic hose/fitting, welds, bolts. Only if your load is supported. I was lucky once. They are standing under it on FIRST inspection.

  2. This winch setup should use integrated, extendable spikes which will pierce the ground and anchor it around 2m (6 ft) deep. A heavy recovery will likely pull the current blade through snow and top soil. It would also be helpful to carry a fulcrum to set up near the stuck vehicle to lever it out of the mud with the winch.

  3. The mounting plate looks like the weak link between the big ass skid and the big as attachment. You should add a couple of anchor augers to the sides and do a secondary manual attachment to the frame. The lift arms are going to bend if you do a full pull on that winch.

  6. Did they just say car wraps are 4 mill (as in millimeter) thick? And this 16 mill thick? That makes no sense.

16 mill is near half an inch. That's the thickness of plywood boards… I think they got their mills wrong.

  7. I’m not as familiar with the case, but Cat has an auxiliary fluid cooler with fan used on their “land management” package. Wonder if that big winch would appreciate that🤔

  8. That thing is gonna be badass, I seriously think though that you need to add more weight to the back of the Minnitar. Because for heavy pulls it will WANT TO TIP OVER JUST SAYIN GUY'S THINK IT THROUGH. Thanks for the video.

  9. You could make an easily removeable shoe with a smooth bottom that slips over the teeth for when you're on pavement. Then you wouldn't need to remove the teeth- just cover them up as needed.

  10. Should have got the minatar with the optional ripper on the back from factory. Could have sunk it in ground for more resistance and to counteract weight from the winch attachment

  11. Hi Friends, appreciate your reply, if indeed the reply was from yourselves, not a scammer representing as yourselves, hope my earlier message helps you in determining the risk I felt is worthy off further investigation.

  12. I have a question about the wrap material you used, I used to apply decals to repainted heavy equipment and letter up company trucks as well as stickered a lot of stuff for friends over the years and cringed every time I saw you guys peel it off and tweek those pieces, lol, I'm sure you guys got a hell of a lot more experience with it then me but that stuff doesn't stretch and deform? Like all the ready made decals and logo material I've worked with would get deformed, often created creeses that couldn't be pushed out from being stretched so I would have to start over with a whole new decal
