  1. Please have more reality checks like this…please. I’ve often contemplated funerals and how people like to showcase the person as an angel rather than using their life to provide instruction. It’s nice to console people but it’d be even nicer to hear the truth

  2. The really wild thing is that, because there is no time in Heaven (because eternity is forever), all those who have been saved by Jesus are already there, even though many are still are here on earth and some may not have been born yet from our earthly perspective! (Depending on when Jesus comes back, I mean).

Hence why Paul says we are seated in heavenly places.

  3. Perfect timing for this lesson. God is showing ALL of us that his return is very very soon. There really isn't any excuse for not accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

  4. listening form California, thank you so much for this video. answered alot of questions. i do have one question you said you do not know what heaven will be like or what we will be doing. John 14:2 KJV says in his Fathers house he has many mansions, in the ESV and NIV say dwelling place. sounds will be living rich. and a place to stay like we do now, right?

  5. I found this confusing. I was one of those blessed people who was around in the early 70s when the Jesus revolution was going on. There was a lot of talk about the rapture then. Since then, the study of eschatology has brought about many opinions. I often wondered if this was what the people of old felt while waiting for the promised Massiah? I have experienced giving birth to children. Before the first child was born, we were given books to read and lessons about birthing, etc. I can tell you that nothing prepared me for what was to come! After the child was born, though, there was just great joy and relief. I believe if we keep our eyes on Jesus, He will guide us through what is to come. Then we will know the greatest joy of all
    Cheers

  6. I pretty much agree with everything he said except for one point. The Old testament saints/believers were in Abraham's bussom. When Christ died he took all the inhabitants of Abraham's bosom to heaven with him. This was the raising of the first fruits. If you remember the thief on a cross recognized Christ for who he was and Christ said to him in this day you'll be in paradise. Why would he take the thief to Paradise and not take the Old testament saints
