Well, wet my whistle, TFI and crew just went chugging along to give us another fantastic interpretation of a heavily underrated story in my opinion! It always seemed unfortunate that Hearts of Steel was never really deeply explored in official media, especially from the comic masters over at IDW. So you can all imagine that I was happy to see that done here, while also tying it to the original source material. I also appreciate giving Bee and Cliffjumper the spotlight as a hard edged scoutin’ duo, again tying it back to the original comic where Bee lead the Autobots! (Cliffjumper’s one of my favorite Autobots so anyone giving him a leading role is an instant win in my book) I also loved the depiction of Scourge, seemingly taking heavy inspiration from the recent ROTB version of him! The extra characters were cool to have, the action was fantastic especially with the impressive pyrotechnics added, the music was great, and I loved the story it had going! With a fantastic crew like this under your belt, it seems that TFI Creations will remain on track going forward as always! (Yes, I stole that from Chris McFeely, it’s just so cheesy that it felt appropriate here)
Giving Scourge a Nathan 6 chime was definitely an interesting choice. Sounds like a recording from Pere Marquette 1225. This was definitely an cool film story wise!
