  1. I think the letter was written and given to Bryan for him to read on his trip back to Gabby from dealing with their storage. When he left Gabby to deal with the storage unit, he was… I'm sure upset with his parents for forcing him to leave, mad at Gabby for not going with and wanted to stay on her journey ( references to love being a action not words)… He probably said some crazy stuff about Gabby to them as Gabby said in cop video that Bryan wasn't supportive about her blogging goals, etc. and probably was mad Gabby didn't just want to turn around and go home to deal with unit together. He probably said some terrible things to his parents which scared mom into writing a letter with a huge tone of desperation, but the letter to me gave Bryan the ok… to ultimately kill Gabby because he knew his mom would help him in covering up anything he did.

  2. Who writes a letter (prior to the murder) and says “burn this letter”, as if trying to attempt to hide what is being said and keep it between two people. Unfortunately and thankfully, that isn’t the case or what happened. What a coincidence {not} that it speaks about helping dispose of a dead body and then all of a sudden, his girlfriend goes missing and is found dead. Yet she claims she “wrote this before they left”. Yeah, okay. This is coming from a mother who had Gabby living in her home with her! Parents who said nothing and did nothing to help find Gabby let alone give her parents clues into why Brian just showed up with HER van and without her. Hmmm. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out something is very wrong. They knew all along and tried to protect Brian. I am glad he died and I hope it constantly haunts his family of not only his death but Gabby’s as well. They could have atleast “spared” their own child’s life if they had spoken up, but instead their son is dead. It sickens me that there are people out there like this. It saddens me for Gabby and her family. I am grateful she was found and what are the odds that someone drove by with a camera and showed exactly when their van was there and Brian was out in this desolate field alone. He deserves to burn in hell and hopefully his family suffers here on earth as well.

  3. Obviously Roberta can not be trusted. She will probably destroy the letter or at least say something a long the lines that its gone missing. She doesn't care if its relevant or not. She knows what she said. She knows she's caught.

  4. Just like the letter mentions … The "actions" have more meaning for "the truth of" or seriousness of being a connection to something important in our lives: By ignoring the Petito calls of "Where is our daughter Gabby Petito" and the Laundrie parents just ignoring to respond or answer one way or the other of knowing to not knowing and mususing the 5th Amendment constitutional law and hiring an attorney to make sure nothing incriminating gets out is an "act" defining the truth. If there is anything they know or don't know … Say it … There was no legal need to dance over egg shells at that point unless there was something to hide.

  5. Roberta Laundrie's wrote the letter after her son killed Gabby that is why she wrote "burn it after reading". BS what the attorney is saying, the letter is absolutely relevant. Gabbi's name is not mention in the letter is because Roberta is protecting her son after Brian told his mother he murdered Gabbi. Bad people so sorry for Gabby and her family.

  8. The peritos lawyer was very smart to mention some parts of the letter.

I believe it’s much more that we don’t know. I don’t like theories. This letter makes me believe that he had insinuante somehow his intentions or she knew he was capable. Since the relationship wasn’t healthy it’s obviously that his parents knew it.

  9. I believe she wrote this letter after he killed Gabby but prior to running off and killing himself. I think she feared he would harm himself and she desperately wanted him to know that no matter what he had done she forgave him and would unconditionally love him. This family is dysfunctional to say the least. Who condones their son who gets violent with his girlfriend and comes home without her in her van. You could say they didn’t know she was dead, but why not answer the phone when her parents call looking for her.

  10. It shouldn't matter when she wrote it before or after both are horrible so if she wrote it before she knew he was capable of killing her or planned on it or if after then she knew he killed her she needs to be charged with accessory to murder ot conspiracy to murder why is she not behind bars . It's no different than being in a car and pulling up to a store and your friend goes in and robs

  11. Well repairing a relationship w your child surely don't meet the context of this letter. Imo. If I were juror that would be my immediate thought. A letter of wishing your child well, and safety on this adventure, and a matter of you're my son/daughter and unconditional love is what I would call a encouraging healthy repair. These words written are ….questionable of knowledge of possibilities of the future, and more like a pact not a repair.

  12. I do think it’s likely she wrote the letter before they left. Regardless- what it does show is the extent as to which Roberta would go to cover for her son. And that’s the angle, I think the Petito/Schmidt family should take it. I do think there was knowledge of what happened to Gabby by Brian.

  13. This letter is disturbing, but very telling nonetheless. It's like she was writing him hidden messages with secrets codes. She wrote it in a covert way, trying to disguise what she was saying with out revealing the true meaning behind her ominous words, knowing her son would understand exactly what she meant. She and her husband are very conniving and disingenuous. They knew their son killed Gabby the very day he drove all the way home in her van without her. I think she wrote the letter during that time basically telling him that she knows what he did and is willing to help him, that no matter what she is on his side, loves him unconditionally and will believe whatever he tells her. There's no other reason she would have wrote such a compelling letter.

  14. Everyone around the world knows about and is following this case. How in the world would the jury not know about the letter and what she wrote? Its all over the news and social media, so I'm sure whatever jurors get picked already know what the letter says. It would be very difficult to be a juror and not take into consideration of what Roberta wrote in the letter.

  15. I think Brian’s mom was aware of the defects in her son and his feelings towards Gabby could go south. Sounds like they were close but this trip might have come between them. She wanted to fix it with this letter and let him know she is on his side even if she disagrees with his actions… even if he’d harm Gabby.

  16. It’s particularly likely SHE WOULD NOT MENTION Gabby’s name. These lawyers are bald faced liars. Makes me sick. My ex was a lawyer & the day after taking his oath I heard him suborning perjury. Greed, ego… telling people he was a doctor… I’m very tainted now w lawyers & their willingness to really want any truths!
