My Opinion: 795 pages, $6.99, Available On Kindle Unlimited
The RPG Apocalypse finally hits earth in the latest entry in the series. Monster outbreaks push the main character (MC) and his allies to the breaking point and beyond as they fight massive waves of high powered monsters and have to deal with politics between the powers on earth. This only gets worse when they realize that the MC has something that would let them get an edge on the competition and he wants to use it to cut off the source of some new power.
The story has several nice arcs that detail all the woes associated with such a monster outbreak, explorations of how the MC is growing as a leader, and lots and lots of very good fights. The MC even finally ranks up and improves his power.
Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of some of the time spent with the political aspects, but they did provide a break from fights and were a source of a different kind of conflict in the story.
Overall, a very good story. Though I actually listened to it as an audiobook and the voices were wonderful.

I really enjoy this series. Thanks for the video.
Now I’m waiting for book 6 soon tm
So I really enjoyed this book as well. Personally not as much as the last one. The political intrigue parts overall was a good for the story and this style of fantasy.
It was one of the main things I loved about the series from book one was the in-between conversations the adventures had with the MC of why? Why kill monsters? Why kill bandits? How do you deal with the trauma? How the everyday average worker lives in a world with magic? It made the series more grounded and believable.
This book was enjoyable with the action and politics yet I think for me I am just wanting the MC to return to the OG world and be done with this old one. I will say the only negative is the introduction of a few new characters and such when I just spent a whole book getting used to the last ones.
YA garbage
I agree with everything said. The book was paced very differently, but it is a lot better since everyone is waiting to catch up with the other characters.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Not a huge fan of the way they killed off some of the characters we just got introduced to, especially Greg. I am happy they didn’t get rid of Hero and the rest of his family but I didn’t think those characters deserved to go out the way they did.
The next book is hopefully going to be the last book in the old world and we can get back to Hump and the gang!
All around this series is going in a great direction and silver rank is going to be so cool. I’m hoping his party is now silver rank as well which will lead to some beautiful battle sequences and story points.
Thanks for the video!
