I remember when I was reading and it said something to the effect of he was possessed by the god of cooking and I said out loud “hopefully that God isn’t Xie Lian”. I turned the page and it definitely was😂
When I finished vol 2, I told my sister that this somehow ended up being one of the funniest and simultaneously sappiest thing I have ever read.

My favorite combination is sesame oil, chianking vinegar, black vinegar, a bit of soy sauce and some shichimi togarashi.
