I know this is going to sound blasphemous but take purgatory out of the team completely and put the best characters that give damage buffs to the team and see how much damage you can get him to do because I don't think purgatory gives a damage buff, does he?

So he has damage cap, an AOE that seals healing and pretty much makes all foes critable, an ultimate that f*cking seals everything and if you don't kill him by turn 3 he becomes stronger…
