I too am a British man , somewhat "rational-minded" and yet I've had an Out of Body Experience. Unlike David, mine wasn't during a life-threatening situation but nonetheless I was able to travel away from my physical body and visit a specific location. I can tell you now beyond any doubt that my experience was NOT an illusion. You can only understand what I mean if you have an OBE yourself. It's the most profound thing that has ever happened to me and it's real.

Coming from myself who worked on trains… If his coat were trapped in the doors….. there's no way he'd go under the train wheels as the drop from the bottom of the door to track is about 6ft… and his body would be in half…

Criteria for an NDE does not include biblical examples or quotes, teachings, preachings or sayings. Raymond moody is the person eho coined thdnphrase NDE. His website specifically explains the elements of an NDE. His commentary lacks a specificity of examples which truly effects his credibility. He does not mention a life review, empathy for others, going through a tunnel, etc…., i seriously question his credibility. Quoting scripture is typically not a criteia for an NDE and.one that i have nevee heard of. He is using the "buzz words" but does not seem genuine. Also, Raymond moody is a medical doctor and a PH.D. philosopher for 50 years and he still studiesnand does reaearch on NDE ' s hope this helps. This is not a christian thing either as ndes can happen to anyone of any faith or no faith at all
