  1. "But you haven't been fighting for her…"

He personally got her off Heaven's Exorcist kill list"; he HAS been fighting for her for a long time, despite everything else he was struggling with and even if not in the best way.

  2. I feel like a lot of people are harder on lucifer than i feel he deserves when it comes to Charlie. He's trying his best, despite obviously being terrible at being a father. He genuinely loves her but doesn't know how to be a father

  3. Lucifer is one of the Seven Sins rulers of Hell and the strongest because of his Angelic powers.
Lucifer is the ruler of the Pride realm where all the human souls go.
The other realms are reserved for demons born in Hell.
Satan who rules the Wrath realm is who ppl would most associate Lucifer’s personality to but in this series they’re different entities.
We haven’t seen Satan in Helluva Boss yet but he’s supposed to pop up soon.

  4. A friend and I were discussing the latest Hazbin Hotel when he came up with a theory. What if Lilith and Alastor disappeared around the same time. Think about it, Alastor is gone for seven years, Lilith is gone for seven years. And when Husker said "Big talk for someone who's also on a leash" what if Husk was referring to the fact that while Alastor and Lilith were missing, Lilith and Alastor made some sort of deal with each other about Charlie hence why he's so obsessed with helping Charlie full her dream. It makes sense right?! Is anyone else thinking about this?!

  5. 6:18 My personal theory (since you asked Alistor's motive) I don't think he's trying to compete at all, I just feel like he's trying to push Lucifer's buttons and make him mad, which is why he's going like "haha I'm closer to your daughter than you are", cos we know he's bored which is why he's helping to manage the hotel. So what could be more entertaining than making the king of hell go mad and seeing what he's capable of. After all no one has every really met Lucifer, Alistor certainly hasn't, he's just been a name and someone to probably be afraid of, so tryna push his buttons and make him get angry would probably be entertaining for Alistor. At least that's my personal theory.

  6. Despite Alastor being a demon he’s one of the few who doesn’t CONSTANTLY swear. Perhaps it’s because he believes it’s beneath him and not seen as classy, and he only does it when he’s genuinely mad or upset which isn’t often. I kinda like that about his character.

  7. Unless it changed from the pilot to live show, there's a huge portrait of Charlie, Lucifer and Lillith in the lobby of the hotel. There's a brief scene of Alastor checking it out after his introduction. Wonder why they decided to make her faceless for the memory. We and Charlie know what she looks like.

  8. Charlie from the pilot episode established that she calls her mother Lilith more often and openly talks about trying to make the hotel work.

After the failed news broadcast, Charlie called Lilith asking for advice and guess who shows up? Alastor who says he made it his goal to help Charlie, he may have another motive underneath. But he's actively trying to make sure the Hotel gets up and running, so I think it is Lilith who told him to do it.

He's a guy trying to take over the top dogs of Hell, but probably failed and sold his soul to someone really high up.

  9. I absolutely love how they depicted Lucifer. Charlie and Lucifer's song absolutely blew me away with how much the voice actors embody these roles. They passionately put their heart and soul into said songs and vocals. I absolutely love how they depicted Lucifer as a caring and loving father who, albeit he has trouble connecting to his daughter and is a bit of an anti-social goofball, still loves Charlie no matter what and wants to believe in her vision. Still, he sees himself in her and doesn't want her crushed under Heaven's laws/ruthlessness. But despite how scared he is and how much of a failure he feels like, his daughter brings out his hope once again and sees his dream live on through her vision to redeem sinners, so of course, he'd be willing to do anything he can to support her and try and convince Heaven sinners can be redeemed. Jeremy Jordan and Erika Henningson both did a phenomenal job in this episode. I also love how Alastor is the ultimate troll in this show as he already SAVAGELY roasted Vox, and the fact he has the guts to roast Lucifer in front of his own daughter (who seemingly goes along with it) indeed shows how little f***s Alastor gives. I also love that Alastor hasn't sworn this entire time in the show or in the pilot, yet he saved his first F-bomb and said it directly to the King of Hell, Lucifer, himself; he is just a complete legend!

I do wonder who Alastor is under the control of. A lot of people, including myself, have theorised that Alastor is taking orders from Lilith (Charlie's mom), who may have sent Alastor to act as a guardian to protect Charlie and keep her dream alive; after all, both Alastor and Lilith are said to have been seen in 7 years. Yet, Alastor suddenly shows up out of nowhere to help, which seems way too coincidental.

  10. I think Omn1Media had the best take about this episode. Lucifer is still so devastated by heaven's rejection of him that he still today is afraid of doing anything of import for fear that he'll screw it up. And that extends to his relationships with his daughter. She's so important to him that he's afraid of disappointing her, so he avoids her out of anxiety. But in doing so, he's letting her down anyway.

  11. The show's really fun, but I wonder if it's actually going to explore the harder hitting questions. The whole premise is Charlie believing that all souls can be redeemed, but you have to remember Hell would be full of the most wretched and vile people to have ever existed like rapists, pedos, serial killers, genocidal dictators. I feel like people watching the show who are rooting for Charlie aren't really thinking too hard about that. Even Charlie would have realised Hell is full of these people, and yet she's still holding out hope for them, whereas I can imagine most of the fanbase for this show wouldn't give a "second" chance to people that evil to suffer an eternity of ACTUAL Hell because that's where they draw the line. And then the show is also taking the liberty of utilising the concept that Heaven is also full of evil people, whilst interesting on the surface, kinda negates all themes due to inconsistency. I have a feeling the show might be daring enough to dip it's toes this deep, but it'll probably have a scapegoat to worm it's way out of thoroughly and explicitly addressing this moral dilemma.

  12. More Than Anything is the best and most powerful song I think EVER sung so far. As a parent, we’re scared about what happens to our kids growing up. It’s so hard to let them fly and learn if they fall.

  13. ReelRejects, at around 6:21, you probably reacted to that part, but if you see the background, you can see hands, just tells you he doesnt like to be a fatherish figure to Charlie but just wants to mock Lucifer more
