Two people will face charges after allegedly flying a drone too close to Boston’s Logan Airport.
According to police, 42-year-old Robert Duffy of Charlestown and 32-year-old Jeremy Folcik of Bridgewater were arrested Saturday on Long Island, after officials noticed the drone on their monitoring systems.
“The incident began earlier that evening, at 4:30 p.m., when a Boston Police Officer specializing in real-time crime surveillance detected an Unmanned Aircraft System operating dangerously close to Logan International Airport. Leveraging advanced UAS monitoring technology, the Officer identified the drone’s location, altitude, flight history, and the operators’ position on Long Island,” the Boston Police Department said in a Sunday statement.
LiveNOW’s Andy Mac spoke about the arrests and the recent rise in drone sightings with Matthew Medsger from the Boston Herald.

But why is it hazardous?
😮
So hobbyists are going to spend time and money on their drone flying hobby, then they finally get to fly their drones at night, and they’re not going to hear the news coverage, state officials having news conferences, or fears that a foreign government is spying on us, but they’re not going to call the news, the police, their governor or anybody to say “Hey guys, that’s me flying my legal drone at night!” That makes sense. If that was really the thought they why aren’t you saying “If you’re flying your drone at night, you’re not in trouble but please let us know so that we can put the country at ease.”
So what? What does it have to do with the drone's sighted over the world and locally in everywhere.Tell me that
These drones are being used to get lawmakers to make kneejerk laws restricting drone use during Trumps deportation missions, and searching for missing children.
I thought thay was ai drones ?
What happened to that?
Small ? Drone?
Fucken svu sided
At the end of the day… Who cares??? Let Em fly around, why even care? Americans really have no life..
The American people aren’t worried about these retail drones from Best Buy, the public is worried about the SUV sized drones that the FBI keeps ignoring the hazards & questions that citizens are questioning about !
They want us to think these are drones…. they are not drones.. they keep changing the name
Government is creating a public panic in order to create anti drone legislation and restrict the public
You idiots. Those drone. Are not private. Drones. You caught the wrong people
These drones are not the size of cars like NJ…Stop making this news
When u sleep with ur wife, say no more red light
They're worried about that but not the large major drones. Awesome
FAFO! LOL! What idi*ts!
They won’t tell you it’s a orb
Now, lets go get those drone pilots flying over nuclear plants, military bases, etc.
Ummm, wait, we don't where those are coming from. But they're not part of a foreign country or do they pise a public threat.🫤
Why in New Jersey?
These are small dron NOT THE SUV SIZE DRONES THEY WON'T FIT IN A BACKPACK DAMN QUIT BLOWING SMOKE UP OUR ASS😮
Were the planes that hit the towers really drones? Their targets were hit with precision accuracy.
Making a bigger issue over these dude's to the countless CAR sized drones and UAP'S.
What a circus they are putting on the public 🫣🤫🤔 🤥
Those are not the same drones in the bagpack the drones that are coming from China are a lot bigger the size of a truck
We’re gonna find out that these two had nothing to do with the drones in New Jersey, but were planning a terrorist attack. I’m willing to bet we’ll find out these two or at-least one of them were illegal.
Massachusetts follows federal law so closely too.
Wow! But they won't do anything about the masses of unidentified drones shooting and spraying things and also caused an air force to shut down in Ohio.
These drones are hazardous but all the other drones being reported are not?
Can drones be tracked?
An LTE modem, the so-called Hook-on-Device (HOD), is used to locate the drones. It sends position, camera and sensor data via mobile radio. In the same way, it receives control and mission data and forwards it to the flight system. It would therefore be possible to find the location where the drone operators are sitting.
Don't listen to that GI windbag because according to him EVERYBODY has a drone and are flying them at night.
Bet this is the government doing this because they want to pass legislation to restrict the use of privately owned drones. Because they are being used in battles in Ukraine and Russia very effectively..
Instead of running your mouth on "lack of regulations," making flying a drone sound like the wild west, you could have thrown up a readily available drone flight map of Logan Airport in Boston. Explain the very defined zones all drone pilots see. Which zone were they caught flying in? What was the restricted flight altitude in the zone they got caught in? You have three main zones there. The furthest out is a caution area with specifics on max altitude, which you shouldn't be at regardless. Side note, you get warning or notification of any aircraft in the area, which you are obligated to give the right of way to, bringing the drone down if it's in their path. The other two are an "Authorization Zone" and "Restricted Zone". Did they knowingly and illegally unlock the authorized zone? GPS based drones will hit an invisible wall with GEO locked zones. There's no he said she said here. I can't put my drone in the air without the powers that be seeing every action I took with altitude, location, and speed confirmed by 13+ satellites pinging the drone the second the power comes on. The penalties for not following all the laws and regulations are quite severe at that. All your crimes recorded in autistic detail. Almost like drones aren't the wild west, just a bunch of ignorant people with news and authorities throwing fuel on that flame.
These aren't just "drones" the public is seeing. If its not deep state, its non-human intelligence, which was diclosed at recent Congressional Hearings. Eitherway, we need transparency not a cyop/false flag/cover-up.
I heard some say these two guys flew their drones to get a better view of unknown drones(mystery drones)
