  1. Silly oppinion on this one Amit. Disregarding other factors, warming of climate is also nature, should people of india suffering from 44+C temperatures roll over and die or should they use a "western idea" to build things/places/technology to overcome the changing climate. I think building walls and addapting to the situation presented is a human trait and not a western idea
Appreciate the history of Hawai very informative as always

  2. duh duh, wait 2-3 week, then it dies as always, duh duh duh… fyi, Mauna Loa has erupted 35 times now, since John Young and his best friend Kamehameha watched the eruption of 1801… all with zero lava deaths… last one in 1984 was far far stronger with 7 fissures and it ONLY lasted 22 days.. aloha

  3. the Hawaiian island of Kure is the most northern and the largest atoll on Earth, it used to be larger than the Big Island of Hawaii, its now 34 Mil yrs old and is at the 'Darwin point' in the ocean where coral fails to grow at the same speed as island sinks… because the plate rift is N-NW, once these islands hit that point they become sea mounts.. if the plate rift was E-W, we'd have hundreds of high islands… ps Maui Nui was also larger than the Big Island, it consisted of todays Maui Lanai Molokai and Kahoolawe with the submerged Penguin Bank (old shield volcano next to Molokai), …….now Maui is 1/6th the size of Owhyhee Island, aloha

  4. Well humans have been digging wells, holes, tunnels, making damns, reservoirs, dredging ditches, dykes, channels and building bridges, islands, moats and castles etc, etc for millennia so I don't think a ditch or some ordinance to divert a lava flow is an assault on nature necessarily or a western construct. Perhaps keep political bias out of geography.

  5. Impressive commentary. ….everything that you said about living in harmony with nature is true and correct. Thanks to the native cultures we have come this far in life and get to learn so much from them. 🌸🙏💞

  6. The info on the volcano was good and I even really liked the pimple example. But in a informative program about volcanoes, it should just talk about the scientific information and cut out human politics.
