Have you ever found out someone was secretly working against you, and how did you discover it?
I had this coworker who was always super friendly, the type who would compliment your work, offer to help with projects, and act like your biggest cheerleader. So, naturally, I thought we were cool. Then, one day, I overheard her talking to our boss when she didn’t realize I was standing outside the door. She was telling him how I wasn’t pulling my weight on the team, how I was unreliable, and how maybe they should think about “reassigning” some of my responsibilities. My stomach dropped. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. The same person who’d been smiling to my face had been badmouthing me behind my back for who knows how long. The worst part? She had already planted enough seeds of doubt in my boss’s mind that he was considering cutting my hours. After that, I knew I had to start covering my tracks and documenting everything. I ended up calling her out in front of the team during a meeting, and she completely froze. She didn’t expect me to catch on, and once the truth was out, the boss sided with me. It was one of those “smile in your face, stab you in the back” situations I’ll never forget.

Yes, but its even worse when it's your mother, siblings plus other family. I wondered for years if i had "patsy" tattooed on my forehead. Its impossible to prove you didnt do things.
