Hi! My name is Marybeth and I own Rover’s Makeover Dog Grooming in Oklahoma. I have been grooming since 2010 and absolutely enjoy my job. I especially help the dogs that are matted or have an extreme amount of undercoat. Each and every dog is unique and special!

So impressed at your continued professional development. I loved seeing this groom and hearing your insights and the softness of your voice and how you handled this sweet boy. Well done.
Another excellent groom, MaryBeth! 👍🏻💙💜💙 Congrats on your AKC completed designations!
Congratulations on your personal achievements. You are a credit to your profession Marybeth.
😊💖👍
Congratulations on your certifications! (I'm sure you already knew everything that was covered.) If I was a dog owner I would look for a groomer who is certified. Since I'm a cat owner and don't need a groomer, instead I look for vets that don't perform de-claws, unless medically necessary.
Good job Marybeth ❤️🥰
Congrats on your new certifications!
Love that you are sharing things you are learning!!
Hey I'm getting a dog soon yes I'm a animator and I love ur video this helps alot I'm getting a dog compared to this could u also tell me WERE I could find the tear-free shampoos and conditioners?
I work at a petsmart and am transitioning into the salon. I help them a lot already, and honestly it's sad what the typical petsmart client is like. The vast majority of our dogs are this or worse, and the owners get mad at us when we can't do the whole service.
Like, your dog is violently thrashing, defecating itself, trying to bite us, screaming, clawing. It's going to have a heart attack if we keep going, let alone the chances of us hurting it or us getting hurt.
Hi Logan you are adorable!!!! Congratulations on your certification!
Getting my havanese puppy hair cut for the first time next week! He does get very nervous when left alone so I’m hoping for the best
In Korea or Japan, their grooming makes the mini dogs sleepy and calm. Like spa…
You are so soothing and calm. Love the new non-slip mat!😀
QUESTION When a dog acts so nervous when you touch them does it mean that they were hurt or abused? And what if the dog is dirty under the collar, will the water and shampoo get under there and clean too? And are female or male dogs harder to groom or dont it matter?
You were amazing for a dog so anxious.
Cool glasses! I saw them on a different video but forgot to comment.
You bathe him without any shampoo
How can you wash his neck with the collar on?
Such cute eyeglasses!
my tiny dog won't take treats from strangers. but if they give it to me he will take it
Such a great job on Mr. Nervous Nelly! Our family used to include a Havanese female whose temperament was exactly the same. Super sweet, no aggression, but panting and tremors for grooming. We now have three 6 month old Havanese, who I am trying to groom at home to avoid this type of anxiety. I started to handle them shortly after they came home (brushing and a bit of scissoring with a high value treat at regular intervals, small baths with just water for paws and bums), and recently an all over groom just with scissors. There was no panting or shaking. Just a lot of repositioning! I admit I ended up doing some of the grooming while they were lying down 😂, as I don't own a grooming table. They look alright. Whatever works, you know? One day, I will take them to a professional groomer when I think they may be ready. Hopefully I can find someone like you in my area! I have a question: what brand of scissors do you use and recommend?
I love how you are open to continuing to learn about your art. Some groomers get in the mindset they know everything, but you always seem to be looking for ways to learn. It's why I love watching you groom. you always put the health and safety of your furry clients first. Keep it up!!
I have a Havanese and they truly are the sweetest most loving small dogs
Sweet guy! He did a great job for being so nervous, and you were very comforting to him! Great job!
Marybeth he is so 😍
He reminds me of my 4 month old havanese puppy. Mine is so anxious about the grooming process. I try to be gentle with him and train him step by step with love, patience and treats. We both are getting more comfortable every time.
