  1. The beginning of the very telling and something I subscribe to. We really “know” very little. We are giving our best take based on our perception of what we see. This is applicable to all of us including the folks that make money on sports takes. Are some more advanced I their understanding of football? Of course. What we all have in common is that we cannot see the future or accurately predict outcomes 💯. But, speculation is fun. Let’s Go!

  2. This year has been a huge success. Regardless of what their record turns out to be at the end. They needed to hit the draft and it looks like they did. Now the future is starting to look extremely bright.

  3. Omg lmfao the whole “one player was a 1st round pick and the other was a 4th round for a reason” is such BS…. Dude you see it all the time, busts in the high rounds, elite players or competent players in the lower rounds, blah blah blah. Mac isn’t a bust, that conclusion can’t be made by just 3 bad performances in year 2 of his career, but my goodness, this team looks so much better with Zappe in the fold. How much slack does Mac get if he comes back and is terrible again? 1 game? 2 games? 3 games? If they’d let it stretch anything beyond 4-5 games then they might as well let Mac take it to the end and then next year what will we have? A damn controversy 🤣 I hate how people are just writing Zappe off and giving Mac the nod based off of where they played college ball. BAILEY ZAPPE IS STRAIGHT GOD MODE STATS WISE IN COLLEGE! Sure, weaker opposition, that claim would be made if Zappe played literally anywhere other than an SEC school, but he KILLED that lower level of competition, straight murdered. The guy threw for 6,000 yards and 62 TDs his senior year lmao like reality check, that’s 2nd coming of Jesus Christ like numbers…. It’s not like he was playing against Pop Warner schools. Mac was surrounded by NFL player loaded talent… Can you imagine Zappe with that team? Shewwwww. Here is the problem with Mac, the dude has made TERRIBLE decisions, when he has the blitz bearing down on him he folds like a lawn chair, and cowers to the fetal position, it’s basically like punting on 2nd or 3rd down anytime he’s been pressured this year. The games Mac has played in have been literally unwatchable for me, I don’t think I’m alone in saying that either. Zappe is fun, he has incredible poise, his elusiveness in the pocket and when defenders are closing in is impressive as hell, he has a right spiral and is lethally accurate. How is Mac’s arm noticeably better? And if I could ask Curran how he can sit there and talk about the numerous incredible throws Mac made against the Ravens when he threw 2 unbelievably terrible INTS, I’ll be generous and not count the last one. This whole defending Mac thing is atrocious man, in the NFL the bottom line is winning, I don’t think Bill has a loyalty to any single player, he showed the world that with TB12. From a completely unbiased standpoint, having no loyalty obligation to uphold for either player, it’s abundantly clear to me that Zappe has outplayed Mac by a large margin in 2022. Say what you will, but we like to see the Pats win, not get beat like a drum and look like the bad news bears in doing so.

  4. The pats were in the game with a chance to win in 2 of the 3 losses. The pats fully dominated each of the 3 wins. The are evolving well so far. They will not win a super bowl this year, but if they clean up the penalties and turnovers they will be a Tier 2 team. If Mac will start balling, their Offense could score 30+ pts a game and they could become Tier 1with a defense that could allow 20- pts a game.

  5. The Patriots are an average team this year, I suppose, though I think the application of such a mathematical perspective on the matter is pretty dumb, not so much the beginning as the end of analysis. Qualitatively, then, they are a team methodically building, a team on which a lot of the better (and developing) players are encouragingly young, and a team with two well-above-average [sic] young prospects at quarterback. Add to this a brilliant coach (and a reasonably good GM) and I am perfectly happy where they are.

  6. If Mac loses his job, it will not be "because" of injury. It will be because he has outplayed Jones (undeniably to anyone examining the facts) this year. These professional commentators have become, ironically, the worst sort of fanboys. Weird and, frankly, tedious.

  7. This situation is a good one.
You now have three proven QB's who understand the "SYSTEM" of Bill Belichick and his coaches.
And yes, Mac Jones will return to start in two weeks at most against the Colts right before the Bye Week, which makes the most sense.

  8. Honestly, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are our only true competition on our schedule. The games we lost this season were off our 🤬, not because they out played us. We always seem to have a slow start and puck it up.

  9. Tom can we make the post season yes or no. I know Buffalo 🐃 will be hard to beat. But the running backs are so important to our season. And tom can Thornton make a difference on offense..

  10. There is no QB controversy. It would be weird to play Mac ever again. Playing Hoyer against Packers was super bad, now playing Mac is worse. I will be with fans at home chanting Zappe. Mac better never lose a game or throw int ever again.

  11. What do u think response from fans will be when Mac Jones throws a couple ints? Will it be go get them Mac u r the man? Or will it be get this chump out of game?

  12. Let us be reminded that we are in the cupcake part of our schedule right now. When week 12 hits and we have 4 straight prime time games and will have to play the Bengals after that stretch then we will know what kind of team we have. The same thing happened last year

  13. I think the one great thing seems to be that this draft was an extreme success. Therefore, they seem to now have a good core of players moving forward. Even if they arent that good this year they seem to have a chance to bounce back much quicker than previously thought. Between the last 2 drafts they've picked up quite a few good players and possibly 2 good quarterbacks. This about face during the draft is kind of amazing after Belichick whiffed like 5 drafts in a row.
