This show has the premise and script for all six seasons and all episodes. He briefly meets with indigenous groups (maybe), walks across jungles, savannah, plains, makes a fire and shelter, fishes, swims across rivers, discovers snakes (some unusual), bugs, plants, eats what he finds that might be edible. That's it. Boring. Then next episode it's off to a repeat of the previous episode. Same sound effects and dramatic music every episode. It's Groundhog Day movie meets Primal Survival. Wonder if NatGeo or this host compensate the indigenous people in anyway for their skills and knowledge they contribute. My guess is they don't.

Well, if this is true, at least he should have made a fire and used the smoke to deter the bees away.
Survival my behind. Dude has camerapeople, producers, security etc. Watch Les Stroud THE REAL Survivorman. He goes alone, lugging his camera equipment to get his own shots.
