  1. Question: how do I prevent mice and whatever else is munching my beans before they're ready to be harvested? I lost pretty much all my chickpeas this year and half my black beans to something eating them before they're ready. Totally heartbroken

  2. I kept my seeds under my spare bed in the guest room and I just discovered those nasty little bugs πŸͺ³ bean weevils were everywhere and having a blast eating all my saved bean seeds 😑 took hours and hours of cleaning. I will definitely be heat treating this years harvest. Seeds are no longer stored in my spare room anymore either.

  3. I always learn something new on your channel. So, are the beans bought from the store already heat treated or freeze treated, or should we be doing this to store bought beans as well before storing them? Thank you

  4. I had the day off work today and spent the entire day dealing with the abundance as you call it. Today was mostly herbs, interrupted of a three hour mushroom picking intermezzo. I made a bunch of herb salt which I love love love and it's the spice that I cannot ever go without and I now have a room full of drying herbs and tea plants. My grandma always had a room in her house dedicated to tea and herbs that would hang from the ceiling and racks, and as a kid I thought she was a witch. (Her family still took living of the land so seriously that they grew, spun, and wove their own fabric on their farm and my love for this lifestyle is all from her).
Yours is my favourite content on YouTube.

My fault though , I didn’t deer proof my garden this year πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ lesson learned .

  6. So, I have a question for you, if you are building a house, what are a few things you want to include while building? I am going to start building a house next year, (drawing up plans now) and I decided to ask people what a few things they would add if building( or rebuilding) their homes.
    Thanks!
